Typical... didn't see the game, but sounds like we didnt play very well. Even still to draw the game from a refereeing decision - the type that we never seem to get the rub of is particularly galling. What was the decision like was it clear cut,?

The touch judge was right, Aka headed the ball and Wilson was offside when the ball came off his arm. Ref should be dropped after that. What's the use of touch judges if you overrule their calls.

Offside AND Handball
Take your pick. So angry about this one. Every single time, we come out on the short end.
How many good goals have we had chalked off and never a one given back on a platter, like that. And the ref COULDN'T have seen it; he's just DECIDED that they should have a goal. ATROCIOUS

How the hell can Madley ever
How the hell can Madley ever referee again after that?
The FA really need to look at using Video referees. For the time it took to talk to his linesman, the 'fifth' official could of been in his ear saying it was not only offside, but handball, too. Hope we don't need this dropped two points come the month of May...Wonder what we're gonna give West Brom next week? COYI

the ref believed it wasnt
the ref believed it wasnt touched by wilson. so in that case, no handball, no offside. it is what it is. a bad decision, the guy made a mistake, thats life. to be honest, we should be happy with the point, we didnt deserve anything from the game and we were given two goals.

After 24 hours reflection
There's a lot I agree with you about. Reservations in brackets: (1) we didn't deserve to win [but how many in the past have we not deserved to lose?] (2) Ref may have thought it wasn't touched by Wilson [but why then have the scorers awarded it to Wilson, and why has he claimed it, saying, despicably, that it was a "magic touch" -- deffo handball in my opinion].
I don't agree that we were given TWO goals -- only the one. And even on that one, Arnie was opportunistic, as one needs to be, and took it quickly and well. Bournemouth were the better team for 80% of the match, though, so don't get me wrong.
Well, nothing to do but move on. We never should have allowed them two goals in the first place, and after going up 1-0 we should have been much more solid. Same with Newcastle. Despite Collins getting our first goal, his defending was to blame for both of their first two goals.

Disgusting the unfairness in the calls. Saw Dele Ali elbow a Soton player in the face (again!) and not even a foul given. But then he plays for Tottenham.

it was a red card whichever
it was a red card whichever way you see it. if it was deliberate, obviously red, but even accidental, its red by the rules as its dangerous play. a second blunder by the ref. he had a bad day at the office. still though, we got away with a point imo thanks to the keeper so i can't be too upset about it.
