I thought I was talking to myself for a while. This is just like Liverpool, all over them but didn't score early on

Blimey its quiet on here!I think weve done well 1st half.Kouyate immense at centre back, song has been a bit of a liability imo,but i suppose hes been so good that hes due a dodgy game!More of the same second half with a goal or two for sakho & valencia!!

He looked around to see where Tompkins was then raised his elbow, red card for me.

The gall of van gaal!!after the game he gave absolutely no credit to the westham performance at all(fergie style) what is it with that football club that makes them so arrogant.Mind you,hes expressionless-botoxed to the max...:)

That's true. Almost glad I'm not at the Boleyn, I'd be spitting blood and cursing all the way home. But pleased with the performance, should give us confidence to finish the season in winning style.

SAM's tactics of getting us to sit back and defend a 1 goal lead inviting the opposition to come at us. Not substituting players that were obviously shattered ala Nolan and song today. Also not making the most of our opportunities. Still a great performance and unlucky not to take all three points.

It's a pity we let it slip, but for most of the match we outplayed them. We have a very tough fixture list ahead, though.

I think we can get a point at Southampton, a draw at the hawthorns in the cup, win the replay at Upton park and the Spurs game as its a London derby then anything can happen (Just have to hope Harry Kane has an off day). At least we are not fighting relegation.

If we can make manure look second rate then all the others will be looking to make sure AC gets back in the fold as EV and Sakho are on fire. Loved the goal and shame we didn't get the second to kill them off. Bring on the Saints I say. Game on for 3 points...COYI

That we always try to hang on to a lead against the big boys, time & again they always seem to get back in the game.Thats why i was so hoping noble had of put his chance away.Though I would have liked to have seen almafitano come on for the last 20 mins to nick one for us...

I watch the game at our local, even had a few Chelski fans cheering the irons on. I thought we played the better football and should have taken all 3 points in the end.

You just know with 10 mins to go and a 1 goal lead that the draw was coming..
The good thing about this this season is at the end of the day there's no fear factor when we play against the big boys anymore, Ok we lost at Christmas to Chelski & the Gooners but the squad we got I think we can get the point or even all 3 the next time we play them......
Let hope we can give Saints a good game later this week.....

Much better with Valencia and Sakho up front and playing the ball on the floor, Manure's goalkeeper saved them and as for playing Nolan???? well! it was a decent game and I enjoyed the way we played. If we go to Southampton and play this way and not try to defend a 1-0 lead if we get one but go all out we could win it 3-2 but with Big Sam you just know he will play 4-5-1 away with Carroll and Nolan in the team :-( and be happy if we get a draw! It's there for us to win even with a depleted defence but we wait and see!

An excellent all round performance that deserved so much more than a late equaliser and therefore a draw. We had pace, movement and desire from the off and the first half was a joy to watch.

The fact we had Sakho and Valencia up front helped the set up and way we played. No one was looking for Carroll and we used the wings well and got the ball playing along the floor nicely. I thought Kouyate did well as a makeshift CB and took his goal so well.
De Gea was by far and away the man of the match and shows just how well we played as we created chance after chance. Who'd have thought Man Utd would result to pumping long ball aft long ball to snatch a late winner? But the mancs did this most of the game and look a long way off being a top 4 side (ahh shame).
I hope we can keep the same momentum and pace for our Soton game as that will be a much tougher encounter than yesterday.
