No Anderson, not even in matchday squad! They will trot out some 'niggle' injury excuse but it is obvious Anderson and Pellegrini have had a massive falling out.

England in danger of going out....injuries forced changes and bam the team looked a lot better and but for the hand of god...today for whatever reason Anderson out and maybe two upfront enforced on El Pel lets hope his eyes are opened....442 at home would make us a different prospect for visiting teams away from home against better teams a bit more defensive understandable but truthfully i still want the manager gone.

But squeaky bum time at the end, ings went close a few times.luckily for us though saints were pants just like Chelsea.for me pel still needs to go,we have a talented team if the system is right & a passionate no nonsense manager would get the best out of them...that is not Pellegrini

Or did it happen out of the blue? it might even have been a cunning plan to wrong foot THE southampton manager Ralph Tuttifriti. But the formation shows Haller up front on his own before the kickoff. Without Ant would have not won this, he dragged the players up by the scruff off the neck and in the end this became infectious with a lot more players showing a bit of fight. Seemed to be a lot of Allerdyce long balls and no playing out from the back which seems to suit us better one things for sure we did not miss Anderson -better without him, if he has fallen out with Pellegrini he better watch his mouth or he could end up getting dropped long term. Thought Ogbonna was good today as well
