Very shortly the Org will be re-connecting with the thousands of members who were lost when the site and server migration went all a bit Pete Tong! After a huge amount of effort , Jimmy G, AKA mad hammer. and the rest of the team have worked tirelessly in order to bring back what was the best West Ham Fans forum website in the world. We have taken advantage of new systems available and have ended up with a unique server, courtesy of rabbits foot, that is capable of dealing with the 'modern world'. No more server melt downs or archive life times, the Org is back, leaner and meaner. From around 8am GMT, messages will be sent in batches of 1000 at a time to ask members to reset their passwords, all other log in details remain the same.
It has been an incredible journey, it is two days short of a year ago that the original site and all our community went down, the vacuum , as one would have expected has been filled by Claret and hugh among others, and well done to them.
But the Org is back. There will be feature articles on a daily/hourly basis and the site will be incredibly user friendly for your mobile. In the past we thought we had dealt with all the technological problems associated with a site with such huge archives, only to be undone, however now, finally, the site will be able to function as it did in the past , but an awful lot better! How much we all appreciate the sterling efforts you and the likes of Jimmy G, AKA Mad Hammer, have made in bringing the community of the Org together. We have our differences, we moan (a lot) but we all share the common passion that is 'West Ham United'. I enjoy and visit this site more than any other, and I thank you both for making that happen.

and I am not just saying it to be patronising. The effort and time that you all put in just shows how dedicated to this great club and its supporters you are. I don't think there is one person that is on this org that doesn't appreciate the job you all have done. Thank the boys for us all and to you Nev, your a legend.

Hi Nev & Mad Hammer. Well done on the site. I have to say though that there's a lot more swearing on here than before. I think a few people get given special allowances for being family faves, but this weekend was horrific. I know in my own family there are a few younger members that read the site and I think it can be a bit intimidating when middle aged men are ranting and calling each other names. It's bad enough with Rumple of the Bailey dissecting and patrolling the corridors. Also how do I change my photo please? Betty

click on my account and then edit. there will be an option to remove the image. there is also an upload file button which you will need to use to upload new image. As for the swearing this is about to be digitally halted within the next few days. -Ed

Sorry Nev I'm on Mac OS I don't have the edit option. Would you or James delete the picture, when you get a chance. I know you're busy. Thx

send a link for your new pic and i'll put it up, but we use Mac Os so there should be an upload tab as well as a delete image tab

as long as it's not bullying or threatening then we should be open to the different way that people air there views. Middle aged men ranting is okay to me and name calling is part of life, it has been for as long as I can remember so that's part of education in life skills as to how you respond or not? I have no problem with the different approach of people as long as no-one threatens or abuses me in an aggressive manner, but then I own a pig farm and 'do you know what nemesis means?'
