According to reports, West Ham United boss David Moyes has confirmed Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez could be out of action for at least two weeks with a hamstring strain and warned the Hammers record signing Marko Arnautovic to start pulling his weight.
Moyes speaking at a news conference before his first less than inspiring game in charge of the Hammers at the Vicarage Road, Moyes said: "I think everyone knows he [Chicharito] has got a hamstring injury. It could take a week, it could take two weeks."
The Scottish boss has told Hernandez he will be given the chance to establish himself in his West Ham attack but warned the former Manchester United attacker he would not be allowed special treatment, Hernandez and Moyes have 'previous' from when Moyes took over from Sir Alex Ferguson to manage Manchester United.

Hernandez was part of Moyes’ Manchester United squad during the 2013-14 season but the 29-year-old started just five epl fixtures over the course of the 54-year-old's reign at Old Trafford. Moyes, who coached Everton before his move to Manchester United in 2013 also told Arnautovic, the £24 million signing from Stoke, that he needed to be "a team player." "I can only go on what people have told me and they didn't think he has come up to the standard he set at Stoke City," the manager said. "I watched him a lot at Stoke. I thought he looked like the sort of player you would never be keen to play against, if you're a right-back, because of his power and strength and what he can do. "But he also has to be a team player. The clips I have seen, at times, he has not looked a team player. "He would not be the only one I would say that about. The other players also have to do the work for the team if they want to be part of it."
Following the dismal display against Watford, Moyes questioned the attitude and commitment of some of his 'senior' players having experienced their performances, it will be interesting to see who makes the starting line up for Moyes' baptism of fire at the negative cauldron that the London Stadium has become. - Ed

Looking at his team selection before the Watford game, did give me the shivers down the spine. Very slow lethargic midfielders with no real conviction, a forward who is as quick as a camel. Why are Man City, and Spuds really the top teams in the premier divion and even in the European Champions Cup. A combination of experienced as well as young energetic players. Who was in the Hammers lineup that met the young energetic criteria. I would say only Lanzini, but he really seemed isolated. Kouyate did cover a lot of that pitch, but that was it until Masuaku came ln as a sub in the dying minutes. Realistically, West Ham's style is a decade behind today's style of footaball, and Moyes has to realise that.
