There has been so much speculation over the future of West Ham boss Slaven Bilic, with one recent report claiming he will be sacked if his side fails to finish in the top 10, but Hammers joint-chairman David Gold has defended the former Croatian international manager. "There is no issue between me and the board and Slaven," Gold insisted. "I go to every board meeting, and in the board there have been no discussions over Slaven, he's our manager we all like him, he's a great guy."
Slaven Billic will not look back fondly on this season, the problems he has had to deal with are well documented, but perhaps a word from the top that doesn't sound like the dreaded vote of confidence will help him believe he has the support and backing to get the team over the line this season in preparation of a total re-build for the next. - Ed

From the board...regardless of whether you want slav to stay or go,surely its the right thing to back him at least for the forseeable future,we are not safe from relegation yet & all this boll*x in the press & twatter etc about- we are after this manager & that manager, slav has 3 games or hes out blah,blah...is just making our club look a laughing stock imo!!
My stance towards managers has always been either back them or sack them, just my view for what its worth!!
