During this coming week end westhamfans.org will be having a system upgrade in order to speed the site up and remove certain annoying anomalies, these upgrades are long overdue but a 'quiet' period was necessary. As Roy Hodgson has deemed fit to ignore the likes of Aaron Cresswell, Mark Noble and Mikael Antonio for the England squad, we thought it would be a good time to do the upgrade. Perhaps the opportunity to recharge the batteries will actually benefit West Ham United's home grown players enabling them to take on the remaining fixtures with renewed energy and vigour. At least the England manager won't be calling up big Andy will he? - Ed

I have to render some conservatory dwarf walls over Easter! Anyone want to help? It's great fun... Actually I'm selfishly hoping for rain.

Very tragic at a relatively young age nowadays. I remember he had a heart by pass when he was manager of Barcelona so he wasn't blessed with the best of health but what a great player to watch. RIP Johan Cruyff

Great player, and was really entertaining to watch.
Will not be watching the Germany v England game, as for the first time it is not being shown live on any of the Canadian channels. Can stream it live on my Raspberry Pi but why bother. Will instead do so on Monday to watch the Noble Testimonial on BT Sports.
