Sakho beat the man nearly every time he received the ball by clever turns and playing the ball on the ground - unlike Carroll who just nods it on every time even when theres nobody there! He come on as a lone striker - but City were playing with such a high line that he had to sprint half the pitch, by which point their defence was able to get back... my point is - had he played in the first half, he would be doing this in or just outside their box and likely to be in on goal. As for the chance, look again - the angle he is on and the speed the ball comes into the box, they're not easy to put away

He's 1 goal behind Hernandez and he's played less games and mostly come on as a sub. Come on Burkie, he's far from useless... there's might be some issue with his attitude and history with the board but given his limited playing time he has been one of our most on-target strikers

Cant be sure of anything with this club after the pantomime of the last few seasons... how comes Hart and Carroll start all the time?

I reckon it because they listen to much to those Muppets on the beeb ans sky who never stop plying them with accolades

Burkie 1

Adrian and Rice must both get an extended run in the starting eleven from now on. I think the confidence evident throughout the team was due to their confidence in the keeper.

Probably deserved a point from that. MUCH better performance all around. Gives us a glimmer of hope.
