Tuesday 2 August....…..Euston Station…..close and rain threatening…………………..Allerdice exited the Eurostar, breathing in good ‘ol English air. The offensive garlic and cheese scent had become imbedded in his bushy nasal hair. There hadn’t been one steak n kidney pie or pork scratching available in Paris for love nor money, let alone a decent pint of Tetley’s. “Inhumane” Allerdice had commented when he was given short shrift whilst trying to order an egg and bacon sandwich in the Hotel de Crillon..

This is in no way a negative post but i just don't get it. Hats off to the players for a good win and by gaining that win with 10 players for a majority of the game.

Hats off to Julien Faubert today... Any thoughts?

I just thought he really understood the occasion today and kept plugging away. I agree it could be because of the new players coming in, but he just looks to me like he cares about playing.

Took his goal well, led the line well and linked up well with Faubert, as always gave 100% and at set pieces was a handful. I think he deserves some credit ..
