well what hammer under the sun doesnt love the man. possibly the greatest striker to ever play for the club and one of our greatest captains ever. he would be welcome back with open arms. personally i would approach him with an assistant manager job first so he can get some experience. what do u guys think.

Paolo Di Canio is possibly
Paolo Di Canio is possibly one of the best players I've ever seen. Him and Carlos Tevez are the most passionate and exciting players I have ever seen. No matter what you say on how he may have disrespect Roder in his time, Roeder was a **** and deserved it, and I believe he felt so much in debt to us fans he would've played for £nothing that first championship but Roeder was too damn arrogant. But as manager, he'd be top-dog, he would command so much authority. He would get these guys giving 100%, he would remove a player if he showed any form of disrespect to him or the fans. He would show passion rather than Curbishley who's only movement seems to be pulling him bottom lip down. He would thrive on good football. The man is a footballing genius and he has the same attributes to be an extremely successful manager.

I think the board really need to decide where they want the club to be this time next season and if they have the same ambition as the fans then they should pull out ALL the stops and chase a top rated manager.
A proven manager who is an excellent tactician one that springs to mind is Guus Hiddink the man is a genius when it comes to tactics.PSV won the treble with him Korea finished 4th in 2002 world cup and did the same with Holland in 1998..not a bad record. He also took Australia to the second round of the world cup in 2006 which was a first for them in 32 years.Russia also made it to the Euro semi finals in 2008.The man is class.
Its simply down to the board on how much they can tempt a manager of this calibre to the club and what they are prepared to do to achieve that.
There are quite a few managers the club could try and tempt another is Mancini but to be realistic unless they are given the funds and backing they need we might as well have Jed Clampett as our next manager. (saying that he is probably better Mervyn Day)
Fanno Di Canio was never a Nazi!! Hes fascist, completely different! He was a great player, and I believe he played at his best when at us. He'd put some players who think they know best in their place, he was a strong leader and has great experience in the premiership. Although it is unlikely to happen would still love to see him back. How ever i think we should give Curbs a chance!! Its only been one game and we have grabed 3 points thanks to Deano, lets just see what happens.
Di canio would make a great assistant for slavan bilic.!!
well those of you who do not like di canio can *** off! he was a legend at west ham, and now you spit on him??? hammersfanno1 you should get a clint clints flipping book and read some history...he is a fascist and not a nazi, so that means that he does not use the swastika, because swastika is for nazis! there are many deferences between fascism and nazism but you are so clint clints flipping stupid that you cant realise that! he is not a nazi, so that means that he does not hate blacks and minorities, which you have very much in england...one PAOLO DI CANIO would be the best solution for wh, and i hope that there are not many idiots like you on the hammers stand! he si a legend, whether you like it or not!
He would change the kit to black shirts, require a straight arm salute to celebrate goals and insist that all lamp posts within 5 miles of the ground be torn down! Mind you, he'd drain Hackney Marshes and the trains to and from the stadium would run on time! New club song, "I'm for ever burning ethnic minorities, pretty ethnic minorities into the fire". I would not touch him with a gondola pole! Just because he was a great player, that doesn't mean he would be a great manager!
Maybe he wouldn't make a good manager but maybe he would and he would certainly get the guys playing with their hearts on their sleeves as it's the only way he knows how to play. What a legend
