Scott Parker's move to West Ham took a step further today with negotiations being opened between Hammers and Newcastle, the possibility of a player plus cash or even a straight swap of both club captains could well be in the offing, Parker has long expressed the desire to come back to the smoke and Reo-Coker has long expressed the desire to be idolised, so a move would suit both players and their clubs. Thank god for David Beckham, he is the only football element that has proved to be able to take the mantle of head line bearer from the mighty Hammers, reports that he might become a loanee border on the hysterical to the downright laughable, especially those linking him "wiv the club I grew up near", why on earth would West Ham want the Beckham circus at the Boleyn? Having occupied more column inches in the last year than the club had in the last ten years combined, Chairman Eggert Magnusson and his manager Alan Cubishley will be looking forward to a season of steady progress, not a media scrutinised roller coaster, once a decade is more than enough. There is no doubt that Becks is still a great player, but a Hammer? I think not. - Ed

Ashton (obviously tevez. but if we dont get him 9m for bent i think) Just think we need to get rid of..mullins, zamora, harewood, konchesky, paintsil, etherington, quashie, gabbidon, dailly, carrol,newton,bowyer,cole, sheringham, harewood... --- Ok alot of players out but i think we could sign some obviously quality players that have already made it in the prem.. bentley, heinze, parker, bent,(if we dont get tevez). gabby agbonlahor i think is really promising..huddlestone. and id ive reo coker one more chance but he'd be a squad player and any aggro on first bus to golders green same as anton. and squad players from the championship.. kieghtly (scores alot of goals from midfield). id keep davenport, walker in goal, spector (mainly because he can play both right back and left back to an average ability haha). let me know what you think... oh and sod barton, bellamy and all the other loonies that we might get. you dont see the top 4 sniffing round them ( i know bellamys at liverpool but he isnt exactly wanted there so i dont want no cast offs!) keep the faith.. and for chriSTS sake sign TEVEZ!!

Let say Parker is a done deal for close to £8 m we are going to need reverse goalkeeper, leftback(Shorey £5m),2-3 midfeilder Tim Cahill(?) Harry Kewell(£2m), Joey Barton(£5,5m) perhaps youngster Michael Khighly(£2m). Keep Tevez if not then one big name striker Bent, Bellamy or Gudjohnsen and young unkown striker

We dont need to get on Ferdinand's back we've been sayin why are we sellin our best players for the last few years! Why?? sell Ferdinand or not have him playing?? He's young and he is a class player! Ferdinand's an underage

Ferdinand's an underage England player and the sooner management get on top off him and fans get behind him the sooner he'll mature. New era; second chance to see how he'll react. Look at him for another season. We can't keep letting these players go. We need to learn to work with them successfully and I think we've got that capability under this admin.

Beckham, if there's any

Beckham, if there's any chance, would further raise the profile of the club globally, and thus help to attract big names which is something we struggle with. He'd need to be properly behind us and given he grew up locally there's every chance.

Glad to hear PARKER'S

Glad to hear PARKER'S signing looks close.TEVEZ to follow hopefully, from what I have read in his latest comments.He obviously likes the club and the fans ,its down to MAGNUSSON and CURBISHLEY to persuade him to stay,even if it was just for another year.By that time he will see a dramatic improvement in our league position and our playing staff.

Alright. Everyone needs to calm down. We survived this season. It looked very bad there for a while. Curbs is on his holliers, Eggy is off making a new batch of biccies. The signings will come. Remember what Neill said when he signed? He saw the shopping list that Eggie had, and it convinced him to come here. I hate to think what all you lot would be saying now if we had gone down. Everything is rosy right now. Still in Premier League. New Kit. Getting rid of some deadwood, ie The Culy Haired Porridge Gobbler. Some big signings to come. Get in!

Im not gona pretend i know

Im not gona pretend i know who we are after but if we need about 18 players in total that are good enough to play Premiership football in the TOP half of the league. We have the nine that won the games at the end of the season. (no NRC and Tevez is unlikely me thinks) Upson Gabbidon and Ashton can cut the mustard thats 12. We can get Ben haim Richard Wright (just to fill in incase of injury to Green)and Viduka all on a free transfers. Thats 15. Rosenior would be Great to develop around Neil. Hes a Hammer and wouldnt be expensive. Go all out for Bridge. Then the defence would be Top notch for little expense £10 mill at most. Cahill for the money we get for Nrc and Sissoko For about £6mill. Barnetta for £7mill and Keightly (to Develop for future) £3mill Nugent for £7mill and all bases are covered! A squad to coast a top 6 place. £34 mill spent and sell Spector, Mullins, Carroll, Harewood,Cole Dailly, Quashie, Konchesky, Etherington, Mears, Pantsil and Davenport should recoup at least £19 mill Total out lay £15 mill when all is settled. That leaves as much as we want for any Real BIG buys! Thats 22 players Good enough to play every week at prem level! A squd to fear! Along side we have Reid as cover for Boa Morte, Ephriam to loan to Colchester again and Stanislas To loan along with Tomkins. Nobody cant convince me that team wouldnt be contenders to win the Eufa cup either! Squad Keepers Green, Wright, Walker, Defence. Neil (capt) Rosenior (will play for England one day) Upson, Collins, Ben Haim, Anton, Gabbidon, Bridge, Macartney ..Midfield Benayoun, Barnetta, Noble, Barton, Cahill, Keightly,Boa Morte, Reid.... If we sign all the players

If we sign all the players listed on KUMB I'll be very happy. Parker / Barton / Bent / Shorey / Viduka / Touré. I'd still love us to have a go at Leighton Baines and I've seen quite a few stories linking us with Levante striker Mustapha Riga which would be worth some interest. Joey Barton has been a dickhead in the past but I rate him as a player and I think all this that has just gone on will be a huge kick up the arse for him. I also think Luke Young, although it doesn't overly excite me, would be a decent squad player. When I thought about the Summer and Curbs's fondness of going after English based all the time I was a little worried but the rumours aren't sounding too bad, still.. at the end of the day they could just be no more than rumours. The only one I'm slightly worried about is Viduka.. Should we be chasing players that are winding down their careers? And as for David Beckham, who cares if he brings with him mass media attention.. He is a fantastic player and would be an asset to any team. It's what's on the pitch that matters, and whatever he does or whatever the media write he is extremely professional. Still... For me, the priority is Tevez, and we need to sort it out soon even if it means losing him because of it.. We need to find out if we have him or not, where we stand and where we go from it. If we have him, we should build our team around him, if we haven't.. we need to bring in some flair.
