If we do sign people which i doubt we will with the quality youngsters coming up. Who would you like to come? Personally i would love to see the likes of Luca Toni, Farfan,Shorey N'Zogbia and sabastien larson from birmingham And also maybe a punt on Jimmy Bullard creative great set piece taker and and west ham boy at heart. Your thoughts please

Jimmy Bullard for West Ham. Haha. With him and Jimmy Walker in the squad nothing would get done in training etc. I think we should though, do you think he'd be happy playing alongside Scotty? Also - Adomah, this South American kid we're asking after (Nani knows his stuff), some flair on the wings and some other youth players that Nani finds - Is that too much to ask?! haha.

I would definately take N'Zogbia, when we played against Newcastle at St James Park, that kid was amazing, pacing up and down the left flank all the time. But is he actually a left back or a left midfield? And Farfan, what a player. Would love to see someone like him in a West Ham shirt. Although, I personally don't think Shorey is going to want to come to West Ham. In my opinion, McCartney is better than him and would push him out of the first team. Jimmy Bullard, what a great player. Another guy I would love to see back in a West Ham shirt. If we had a fully fit squad, just add a couple of these signings and we would be a top team. Just unfortunately with players like Parker, Bellamy and Dyer, we are never going to have one. Which is a shame because imagine the pace we would have with Dyer, Bellamy, Etherington and Faubert. That strike force could threaten any back four.

I read "West Ham manager Alan Curbishley is ready to put big-earners Freddie Ljungberg and Lucas Neill up for sale in the summer. (Daily Express) " Curbs finnaly got sum balls. I also hope reading will go down because we will be able to snap Shorey up, he prob will be a good signing for any premiership side. There are atually a few players i would take off reading.

i would like Sergio Aguero, Riquelme, Beckham, Zarate, Park Chu Young, Garay, David Villa, Jesus Navas, Alexander Pato, Nilmar, Di Natale, Barnes, Nasri, Diego, Neuer, dos Santos, Rafael Sobis, Maniche, Quaresma, Vagner Love. If you don't know some of these players type them into you tube there are quality. West Ham should also scout foreign countries for youngsters with talent and thats where Gianluca Nani helps. Diouf if bolton go down, bullard, Mcfadden (Birmingham), Shorey, Dempsey, K. Nolan. LA LIGA - D'Allesandro (Zaragoza), Aimar (Zaragoza), Diego Milito (Zaragoza), Ricardo Oliveira (Zaragoza), Joaquin (Valencia), Vicente (Valencia), David Silva (Valencia), Carlos Marchena (Valencia), Raul Albiol (Valencia), Emiliano Moretti (Valencia), Oscar Ustari (Getafe), Ruben De la Red (Getafe), Rafael Sobis (Betis). SERIE A - Antonio Cassano (Sampdoria and could be the next DiCanio?), Daniele Dessena (Parma), Alessandro Rosina (Parma), Andrea Gasbarroni (Parma). BUNDESLIGA - Sebastian Kehl (B. Dortmund). LIGUE ONE - Jeremy Menez (Monaco), Yoan Gouffran (Caen). CHEEKY BIDS - David Villa, Huntelaar, Van der Vaart, Kompany, Urby Emanuelson (I love the way this kid plays), Adriano, Sergio Aguero, Jose Antonio Reyes, Maxi Rodriguez, Edison Cavani, Amauri, and Behrami.

I love the ambition but come on we are never geting half of this lot aka Riquelme and co all sounds a bit football manager to me. I do agree we have achance to get Bullard and few others who are quailty without a 30mil price tag. I don't think looking at a players highlights on you tube is the best form scouting, don't get me wrong I like to see great goals and little bits of skill but but you can't really rate someone till ya see them play. I would take Hunt and Doyle before Shorey.
Submitted by nathanbi on 7 May, 2008 - 22:36.
Hunt is a left winger, Doyle is a striker, and Shorey is a left back. so why would you take them over a left back? West Ham Till I Die!!!

Hunt??? Have you been on the strong stuff...???

Seriously he is quality he has a never say die attiude, chases every lost cause, makes defenders make mistakes, he is brave , not shy of a challenge and gives nothing but 100% He doesn't have bad delivery either. Been Readings best player by a country mile.

not sure if i'd like shorey.don't know if he has done enough to be a hammer.not trying to slate salano, was a great player, maybe he came to the club 2 or 3 years to late.he still works hard but he wont take over from dyer when he gets back to full fitness.zarate is a great player but not worth the crazy money the brums value him.maybe crouch, i think he would score 10 to 12 league goals for us but we need some one who can hit 20+.we really struggled on that part of the pitch this season.andy johnson looks like he will be available in the summer.might not be a bad signing.
Submitted by jchammer on 16 April, 2008 - 12:26.
Think your being a bit harsh on solano gs,he hasn't been utulised as much as he should .When he has played he's been the only one showing some creativity.Zarate looks ok but no way is he worth 18 million, farfan yeah would definetly try for toni reckon he will be an italian that will cut the mustard in the premiership(knocking on but good for a couple of season's).Shorey should get him for a reasonable price.

whatever about bringing players in,a lot has to go.boa morte, cole who to be fair tried hard but just not good enough.freddie lun might get another season, salano hasn't done much to get another season.would love to see farfan in and zarate.we need a lively playmaker to feed bellamy and ashton"if he stops sulking about his wages".hopefully he will.it will be an interesting summer for curbs, can't wait for next season..

The other post about the credit crunch affecting the owners is a real possibility, however in a perfect world we would sign a Left back, left winger, striker, perhaps a CB and a creative midfielder. Id like to see bids for shorey, doyle/v.love/lavezzi, bullard, garay and either modric or get benayoun back. just my opinion
Submitted by mhard44 on 13 April, 2008 - 10:31.
hay, i would get 3 of the following, zarate or mcfaddenfrom birmingham, viduka or crouch, cheaky bid for joe cole, luca toni, shorey, bullard , get rid of ,curbs if a better manager is in place like billic, boa morte, cole, mab more depending on form and injury status!!
Submitted by e8hammer on 11 April, 2008 - 13:53.
Id liek to see a natural left winger replace LBM (downing if that could happen), crouch seeing as he mgiht be tranfer listed, a creative midfielder because i cant see dyer playing consistantly again. Also a new right back... unless faubert can play there.. other wise the youngsters coming up should do it.. come on tomkins and sears!
Submitted by nathanbi on 14 April, 2008 - 20:35.
That's what I want to see. Faubert as RB. Blistering pace, strong, and quality crosses. Which means we could keep Dyer at RW, our right side would have pace and quality. Now we need a left winger. West Ham Till I Die!!!

If there's any truth in the mischievous rumour mongers that he's on his way out then I'd love to see Ronaldinho here. Give him the freedom of the pitch like Ronaldo has. Maybe he wouldn't wanna come. Maybe he would. Won't know if we don't try.
Submitted by flappers on 1 April, 2008 - 16:16.
We should try and snap up the likes of Shorey,Barnes, maybe Sidwell and as many other young British hopefuls before Aston Villa and Everton do.We also need a DiCanio/Teves type of player who can inspire the team to play at their best week in,week out.The fans need a hero.

I would like to see us sign RONALDO,TORRES,CECH,RONALDHINO,ESSIEN,VIDIC,KAKA,PIRLO,SAMUEL,ROBBEN,CANNAVARO,ETO'O,DECO,ZAMBROTTA and MESSI....probably about £200-300 millon worth of talent.GUDMONDSSON 'S got deep pockets what do you reckon.

...........and short arms that don't reach the cash. When we get shot of some of the 'fizzy pop players' we should have just enough in the kitty to but Jimmy Bullard but don't expect him to return. I like the sound of some of the exotic name players though, but suspect they will want too much money 'cos they have an i or an o at the end of their name. Definately no buying anyone over 24 years old as they are a liability and take too long to heal when they do get crocked. Who knows, our injury curse may be deemed over by the 'injury curse' God.............COYI.

Don't scare us like that DEANONO 1 FAN if CURB'S or whoever ,doesn't bring in a few top quality players we can kiss any EUROPEAN aspirations for next season goodbye. On paper our best eleven I think is good enough to finish in the top six but injuries have exposed the lack of quality in depth of our squad. As far as breaking into the top 4 we have got no chance, not unless we go out and buy virtually a new team .As far as the new recruits are concerned SEARS,COLLISON,TOMKINS,REID,they look promising but we can't expect too much of them next season they are just getting blooded in.If CURB'S is going to rely on them we are in trouble .

I would sign : Appiah,Riise,Toni,Modric,G Johnson and a cheeky loan bid 4 Walcott depending on what Arsenal buy in the summer.CJ

I would go for Shorey as i believe he offers more going forward than McCartney,Wheater from Boro to play alongside Upson,Malouda(my cheeky punt)from Chelsea and Santa Cruz from Blackburn!

I would like to see us sign: Larsson from Birmingham, James McFadden from Birmingham, Giles Barnes from Derby, Matthew Taylor from Bolton, and flog Boa Moarte, and if he don't improve Anton Ferdinand.

I'd love for us to test the water at Chelsea, and put in a bid for Joe Cole.He seems to be a bit upset at being in and out of their team, and has matured a hell of a lot since leaving us.I'd rather we tried to sign a replacement for Neill than McCartney.I'm not a big fan of Shorey anyway.
