Freddie LjungbergSubmitted by JACK COLLISON on 26 April, 2008 - 18:20.
There is another player on West Ham's injury list,Freddie Ljungberg today suffered a suspected broken rib and he had to be stretchered off after only 20 minutes. He is definitely out for the rest of the season and he may be out of the EURO 2008. Get well soon Freddie.

If he was a racehorse he'd
If he was a racehorse he'd be shot in the paddock! At least if he misses the Euro's he might be fit for the start of next season....ahahaha what am I saying....fit.....you couldn't make it up! Does anyone have the vets number?

The man cracked a rib playing for us for f*** sake, he works hard for us and as a result he cops some nasty injuries, you know he gives it his all and dosn't s*** it when it comes to challanges, he is a work-horse so leave him alone you ungrateful lot and no I am not his mum or his boyfriend.
Yep, everytime I see Freddie I think to myself, 'Jeez, its like the second coming of Billy Bonds, the effort and the injuries - what a workhorse'! He was a good player and he's still ok to do a job but I'd like to bring in someone younger and cheaper and definately if we can get something for him in return.
Once again, I agree with you on that. However, I really do think we could have bought someone better than Freddie. He's scored a couple of goals for us, and gave us a few assists....it's just not enough, in my opinion. The injuries are a pain...he's getting old...more fragile, I suppose. We'll see what happens.
