we need to keep our young and great players such as noble and ashton. Green is still youngish for a keeper and great. We just need to get rid of crappy players like lbm and neill. it just annoys me when we can't keep oyur players fit and end up finishing mid-table. With the players we have we should be challenging for europe.

i think curbs will be with us next season and why not.played all season with the second team and should finish a deserved top ten standing.i say this cause we all were getting greedy over christmas and eyeing up 6th.me included.any manager with the problems we had would be happy just to survive, and we have done way better than that.who knows for next season who we bring in,hopefully guys who are proven and hungry for success and get rid of guys who just could not be bothered to give it their all.Lbm is one of the biggest culprits.against the mancs he may as well not have been there.the extra player we had just made no difference, and it should..a good six or seven names will probably or should probably go.but if we dont get in the big signings will that be an eye opener to greenie and co just how serious our ambitions are and be happy just to survive each season..

I think Curbs will be with us next year! And why shouldn't he be? He's 1.Kept us up. 2. Kept us out of the papers for wrong reasons. 3. Improved the playing squad. 4 Significantly imrpoved our league position. No one can quite belive why City are sacking Sven (neither can I) but what Curbs has done is far more impressive in my opinion. Unfortunatley Curbs has bought a buncha injury prone bastards and although I think a team of Upson, Neill, Parker, Freddie L, Bellamy, Ashton, Dyer would be pushing for 6th I can't see us fielding that team. So hopefully Curbs will spend wisely and improve our position again. I do think next season will be harder as expect tottenham, Newcastle and Boro to put up a better show. Some come on Curbs get some top players in! I'm not convinced about Curbs and am hating the way we play this season! But the table doesn't lie.

I honestly believe Curbs will be with us at the start of next season. As i think the board will want to see how he and Nani team up and hope to see if Curbs can get his full squad fit. Its probably the only option open to our owner if money is tight. The damage has been done and its going to be a while yet before we are going in the right direction. I hope we can keep our best players and try and ship out the ones holding us back. I can not see much in us improving by buying some top class players and feel it may be the same frustrating season ahead, please let me be wrong, PLEASE!!!

Part of your own comment is exactly why I would give Curbs a bit longer. Whatever our feelings are, this season was a definate improvement over last season. You say that with the players that we have we should be challenging for Europe but that is the point, we don't have them. Not when they are in the medical room. As for the players, I agree with you. Hopefully with the board we have, we will keep the players that are worth keeping and I too would like to see the back of roughly half the team that has been playing for the last few months. I'm in no rush to get rid of Neill as there are many other players we need to replace before him, namely LBM, Cole, Zamora and Mullins.

We got some exciting football last season, no improvement there. We had an inspiring little gem up front last season, no improvement there. We couldn't defend for sh*t last season, same this, we got slighly more points this season than last. Sh*t manager last season, still here this. Where's the fu@king inprovement???? I looked forward to the games last season, been bored sh*tless this. The number of times I've almost fallen asleep watching us play has been unbelievable and I actually feel asleep during the 2nd half on Saturday. Curbs, his team selections and tactics have finally put me to sleep!!!!!

Well if you was to believe all you read then the only money Curbs has to spend in the summer will be from the money he generates from the sale of some of the fring players, so 1) How much would you hope to sell these players for & what could you realistically buy, & 2) given the lack of strikers & naturally left sided players we had do you think it`s the wisest move to sell Cole, Zamora or even LBM? Mullins isn`t the best player in the world but he does serve a purpose, he breaks up play & should be the player you bring on to shore things up a bit, he`s just mis~managed like a lot of the squad. I would get rid of the likes of Quasie or Davenport first before we think about selling the players that have guaranteed us Premiership football next season. This doesn`t paint a very exciting picture I agree but it, unfortunatly, paints a realistic one, COYRunningOutOfMoneyIrons
