Has LBM cost us a place in Europe?

So, Man City will be in the UEFA Cup because of their discipline record! I'm trying to figure out why ours is worse than theirs. Bowyer was unfarly red carded of course, but how many disciplinary points has LBM collected this season? He got his marching orders at White Hart Lane of course, and seems to pick up a yellow more often than not. Apart from playing like a tosser all season, has the twat cost us place in Europe with his brainless challenges?

So OK LBM got a red card that has cost us, but i also blame Curbs for not getting him off in time. Why could everybody else see what was going to happen apart from Curbs and Day? As ive said in Delmontes post, i think he has done us a big favour, in stopping us being stretched in a European campaign as well as competing in our domestic commitments. We still have a way too go , in competing on three sides and doing anything worth while. COYifweregonnadoit, thenletsdoitwellIrons!!!

I would prefer to be their because we were fifth not because we were ahead of City in the fair play league. Cole picked up nine yellow cards three times the amount LBM picked up, but I'm not going to give out about them. If we want Europe we have to pick it up and do better next season. Would you trust a player who never got booked?

Maybe its a 'Fair Play to The Manager' award. Boning Ulrika & Nancy was well above his level, a five mil pay off from the FA, a three mil pay off from Thailands Hitler and a nice job in the Lisbon sun lined up for next year. Sven - FAIR PLAY to you son, you win hands down!

Why? Man City are in Europe as our "Fair Play" representative. Not got the stats for them to make the comparison but you expect players in certain key positions to collect bookings (midfield enforcer, defenders) but LBM and Cole have collected more than they should given the roles they play. They should be being fouled by defenders, not the other way around! Look at Owen, he is never booked; I think Lineker went his entire career without a booking. Shearer bought freekicks and got any number of opponents booked by inviting fouls rather than commiting fouls himself. Dean Ashton has been booked twice in his whole time with the club; compare that to Cole. Etherington has thirteen bookings and a sending off in 180 appearances, LBM in 47 appearances (roughly a quarter) is already half way to that total. The key point is that the sending off against Tottenham was absurd. Everybody except Turds and LBM himself knew it was coming - the guy seemed to be hell bent on getting a red. If that red, and the combined bookings of LBM and Cole, have pushed us over the edge and meant City have a better disciplinary record than ourselves, then I think the post is fair enough, although having read the stats, I would change the title to "Have LBM an Cole cost us a place in Europe?"

SO THEY BOTH HAVE A BAD DISIPLINE RECORD, WHO CARES, DO U REALLY THINK A MANAGERS TEAM TALK AGAINST OUR FIERCE RIVALS IS , COME ON LADS LETS NOT GET BOOKED TODAY AS WE MAY SNEAK 5TH PLACE IN THE FAIR PLAY LEAGUE AND STILL MAKE EUROPE, ITS A DISGACE OF A WAY TO GETING INTO EUROPE ANYWAY I MEAN A CUPLE OF RED CARDS FOR CITY TOMORROW AND THE POSSIBLY RELEGATED FULHAM COULD TAKE THE SPOT. IF LBM DIDNT HAVE A BOOKING ALL SEASON AND WE JUST MISSED OUT ON EUROPE THROUGH THE LEAGUE U WOULD BE SAYING HE COST US AS HE DIDNT CARE OR TRY HARD ENOGH. JUST HEARD ON THE RADIO THAT POLICE WANNA QUESTION LBM AS THEY THINK HE CAUSED THE CYCLONE DISASTER IN BURMA "COYI"

They were talking about this on Talksport earlier. Didn't catch most of it, but from what I can gather, the 'fair play league' is about a lot more than disciplinary record. It includes attacking play, respect for Ref's and the opposition, and how club officials conduct themselves. Looks like your mate Curbs and his tactics didn't do us any favours either...

Six yellows and a red! Well done Louis! And how many goals did you cntribute mate? Mind you, Lucas has done his bit too, 6 yellows! And Carlton, top marks mate, 9 yellows! And how many goals? And Bowyer? Seven yellows and a red - and he's been on the treatment table for most of the frigging season! And Linda? Just five yellows all season!
