Well surprise surprise, somebody, (Frankyfatpard) who possibly none of us know - except from on here - says that his friend says, that he saw Carr going into UP. There's nothing wrong in that but, people are using it as an excuse to have another pop at our manager. Does anyone really believe that we are likely to sign another defender? I certainly don't. What I do believe is that some of the comments, criticism and (particularly) the booing at games has done and is doing, far more damage to this club, the team and the reputation of us fans, than anything which Curbs has done since the day he joined us. I have said before that there is an element amongst the West Ham supporters who will use ANY excuse to have a pop at our manager, this thread is a good example of that. Although nobody has actually dug him out for signing someone, who we haven't signed, a few comments have not stopped too far short of that. I am amazed at the number of people who seem to have no idea of the value of support.
The value of support is a season ticket Steve. I don't own one, you don't own one, but Del, one of Curbishley's biggest critics on here, does. Instead of sniping at contributors Steve, tell us, IF Curbishley does sign Carr, would that, in your opinion, be a good move?
Firstly, you don't have to buy a season ticket to give support, as you well know. Support can be anything from putting a sticker in your bedroom window to buying a season ticket, going to every home and away game and covering yourself in tattoos. You seem to have value and cost mixed up Fanny, not like you to make such an error. The value of support can not be counted in pound notes. I will add that going to matches and cheering on your team is far more effective a means of support than putting a sticker in your window. (Before someone says I am putting them on a par).
LOL So if Carr walked into Upton Park it was because he took a wrong turning on the way to the Newcastle training ground was it? Or was he there to to put a new gear box in Curbishley's car? Keegan is rumoured to want LBM and doesn't rate Carr. LBM is rumoured to want out. Is a swap not a likely outcome? I don't want it to happen but it sounds plausible to me!
If this IS true then why didn't Curbs manage Newcastle instead of us,how many ex Newcastle players have we now? Newcastle are selling for a reason THEY ARE CRAP!lol .CJ
no offence to the poster but he was the same bloke who rated sylvan ebanks-blake - so the source is hardly reliable ....mind you with the clown of a manager still at the throne anything could happen.....COYI
Perfect, we'd have 2, slow, old right backs. West Ham Till I Die!!!
If we sign this useless cnut I'm getting straight back on my CURBS OUT Wagon!!!
I hope this is bull, the blokes rubbish so i guess curbs will take him
Ex Tottenham, slow, injury prone, Newcastle DEFENDER. Surely that's four good reasons not to sign him? Oh, hang on, I forgot, Curbishley is our manager and he thinks we are Charlton! So, Carr signs for Hammers in papers tomorrow then! Sure he walked into the ground? Wasn't a wheelchair involved?
Mmm, i dont really see why this is being up fanno's arse. I dont really see why id need/want to be? Besides all i said was i was about to say that :S. Someone Jealous? :P
