for me it would be zarate and bridge. this is because i can see zarate becoming a mager star in the future and also bridge as we are desperate for another left back. i fort about going for a left winger but when dyer is fit the left side should be fine. what are your thoughts?

I would like to raid Citeah for Petrov and Elano, if its true about their whole squad being up for sale they would'nt be to expensive, they would both add the creativity that we have missed since Benayoun left.
If we're going to spend some cash, which seems highly unlikely, the lets look across London and get Jimmy Bullard to play down the right and then rescue Micheal Owen from Newcastle to partner Dean Ashton.

I'd go for Elano, need a playmaker and Berbatov as cover for Ashton!
Martin Petrov on the left wing, he is a great player and is leaving Man City this summer and I'd also go for Martins. He has explosive pace and why would he want to stay at Newcastle? This season has proved that they are not as big as they all believe.
id go for bezema (probably be around 12 million, if he was to join us from Lyon?) and zarate. centre half wud be dunne
Roque Santa Cruz up front and Zarate as an attacking midfielder; i also think that lad Aaron Ramsey who plays for Cardiff is gonna be a start for the future...

Barnetta is a must i have been saying him for the last three transfer windows. i saw he was linked with man united a few months ago. he is class. can play across the whole of midfeild as well. my other would be justin hoyte of arsenal. shorery on a free. i know its three but we will only have to pay for two of them.
If it was only 2 players, I'd leave the defence alone. I'd hope we would go for one top class striker - Maybe Arshavin or Huntelaar? The second would have to be an attacking midfielder that could weigh in with some goals and open up defences... can't think of anyone right now!
