Breakaway Super League

Man City's Cheif Exec was recently quoted as saying that he believes the Premiership will 'pull up the drawbridge' soon and the top FOURTEEN clubs will form their own league where there is no system of promotion and relegation. My question is - do you think it will happen and who will the fourteen be? I've got Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle, Spuds, West Ham, Villa & Everton as ten definates. Maybe add Sunderland and Boro'. QPR's money would probably talk and then there is the Old Firm to consider. Can it happen? I can see it, these foreign investors would lose a fortune if their club got relegated and who wants to watch your team play Hull and Bolton? Would it be the death of football in this country and do you care
