I May Be A Twat (Part 2)Submitted by hammersfanno1 on 5 October, 2008 - 14:38.
So, Green is England's Number One is he guys? What did I say about keeping being more than just shot stopping? What did I say about nose bleeds on crosses and coming out of his six yard box? Listen to the master in future or learn something about the game you are supposed to love!
( categories: Current Season )
We would have been better
We would have been better selling him and getting Carson.....also there are alot of decent goalkeepers in the EPL...btw blowing your own trumpet is akin to masturbating in public - yet worse in front of your own parents...:-).......Always telling it how it is!

If I could blow my own trumpet I'd be a contortionist! Might feel good but I'm not sure I would enjoy the taste!
The thing that baffles me most is that you insist you MAY be a twat, when your return to the site, and wholly unsurprising explosion of anti-West Ham drivel has proven our point that you ARE a twat beyond all doubt! Now forgive me if I'm wrong here, but you seem to get off on ruthlessness and negativity so maybe you'd like to get off on this too. "It was quiet. Sorry, but it was. Count the posts. Look how my prods beneath the collective rib cage have now ignited debate. That's the lifeblood of a forum, provocative but well thought out points, expressed in a passionate, intelligent and witty way. Amazed you "can't believe" how much I love myself; I didn't earn the nickname of Ego within weeks of arriving on the site for nothing!" You didn't earn the nickname of Ego. Who gave you that "nickname"? None of us did. The "pet" names we have for you generally don't make it through the censorship! I don't stand alone when I say the site wasn't boring during your absence. I began to notice a more positive and witty air about the place. There were debates and topics, and WE on here started to feel like a "team" again, albeit without those digs in the collective ribcage you are so convinced we need. You come back and straight away the squabbling starts. Yes squabbling. You don't encourage debate with your witty comments. You just piss people off. I don't come on here to get pissed off. I, and many others on here come on to catch up with others who are now becoming real friends. I never once made any friends by constantly interrupting EVERYONE and barging in on other peoples conversations, criticizing other peoples spelling and grammar or telling them what I think of them just because I think I can or have some self-given right to do so. Despite what you have convinced yourself of Fanny, you take far more than you give to this site, which is a crying shame because you sell yourself woefully short by constantly sniping at West Ham or anyone trying to take some positives from what may or may not have been a bad day. Am I being too defensive? Am I more than just a little peeved? Youbetcha! We all know we have problems at the club, but we all still love West Ham. No ifs, no buts, no maybes. West Ham, warts 'n' all! Our Club! And nobody, absolutely nobody has the right, whether self appointed or otherwise, to tell me how to think or feel about anything West Ham. I'm not gonna go though, even though suddenly it's become hard work again. You can beat an egg Fanny, but you can't beat a wank! The time on here without you was more akin to the wank, which is ironic really - when you consider the biggest wanker was away . . . . .
I'm not telling you how to feel, I'm telling you how I see it - and there is a big difference! You feel what you like, another guy's phallus if that's what does it for you as far as I care. I go back to the fact that a forum aint a forum if everybody agrees. It is contention that makes debate and debate that makes a forum. Not that anything I said after the Bolton game was too contentious. Green proved he aint an England keeper. Noble and Parker were ineffective in midfield. We were tactically naive. Faubert wasn't able to create chances from rightback. We gave away a succession of stupid and needless freekicks which played right in to Bolton's hands. Illunga posed a threat down the left so why not push Faubert up wide on the right and Etherington wide on the left to get round the back of them? For that "negativity", I was subjected to personal stick, of which this is just further example. Not that I mind. I have real mates, I don't need virtual ones as it happens. But virtual adversaries in debate about West Ham? Yeah, the site serves that purpose well. I do think some of you guys need to grasp the fact that this is not a Supporters' Club Newsletter - it is a forum where views are expressed, explored, exploded or whatever. I didn't give myself the name Ego, but I recognise why I got it - no problem with that. I prefer it to "Sycophantic Arse Licking Member of the Mutual Appreciation Society Klan" as it happens. If I get in the claw of the Klan, so be it! As for the site being quiet, count the posts. Statistically, it was quiet. And love me or hate me, I generate replies - just like Del!
If anyone else came on this site and played the contrary Miss to the point that you do Fanny, they'd get plenty of replies too, you jerk, so, Mr Statistics, the amount of replies you 'generate' is obviously relative to your 'jerkedness', as opposed to the posts you . . . erm . . . post . . . . having any quality in their content! If being a West ham fan to the point of not tolerating the kind of anti-hammers sewage that you constantly spew means that I'm a 'clan' member, then the next time there's a game (that you actually show up at) I'll be the one with the large white pointy hat and flowing gown, so there'll be no mistake. Not P.C. - Not bovvered! Nice juicy spelling mistake for you to think about whilst waxing the dolphin there! In fact upon reflection, you playing the racist, P.C-ist, or 'educated' hand every time a justifiable argument or balanced retort fails you, exposes you as the socially challenged hypocrite you so obviously are. Ripping into someone who has the gall to oppose your opinion, but at the same time showing his/her human frailty by not having as good an education as you, merely undermines your standpoint on any given topic to the point that you DO keep most of us as amused as you think you do, but alas poor Fanny, not in the way you have convinced yourself of. The fact of the matter is that you are becoming the 'Turds' of this site, and we all tired of his repeated dross after a given time . . . . . reap what ye sow ol' son . . . . reap what ye sow! . . . . Now, to those Hammers fans . . . . . .
Yeah, the bigger the jerk, the bigger the ejaculation. You certainly spurt every time I pull your chain!
I know. I know. Such charm, such humility, such good grace when I am proved right again and again and again. You know, WHTID still thinks you are me!
But of course it was. Klan fall in! Attention! Listen closely, I will say this only once. The enemy has resurfaced again. We have a Spud in our midst, a wrong thinker, a well poisoner, a Jewish spreader of the plague, a fifth columnist. We must purge our site of this disease quickly or, before you know it, that guy Dutch will be back too!
If you've got it, flaunt it. God I wish I was a self loving big breasted lesbian living in a house of mirrors, I'd have sooooooooo much fun!
Not you Aycliffe. You run the local seed store, happy to serve anybody with a smile. The Klan consists of those who react to any criticism of the West Ham team or management with the "we don't want to hear this" responses and who, instead of debating the issues, resort to attacking the messenger. You must be able to spot them from the replies on here!
Ah timing. Either you come too quickly or you leave her feeling as if she's been subjected to an electric sanding. There's no middle ground!
If it wasn't him it would have been Davenport, mind you Davenport did warm up for a while so lets have a little Dav bash too whilst yer there. You aint always right but you state the obvious you can't get that through your thick skull we West Ham SUPPORTERS are loathed to come on here week in week out post fackin in post fackin out stating the same ole boring obvious. You're not a twat you're a master of negative West Ham bashing is all and you love the attention it gets you, it must be all you have - sad
at last someone that says it the way it is, fanno, if you look all his arguments are not from fact but from statistics he looks up online that he uses to single out players to bend to his womb, but the truth is, it could account for a whole team let alone one player, I am not going to belittle him because the truth about him is now starting to show, but I am also surprised he didnt diss Ilunga for getting in the way of green too on one of the goals and of course everyone know the majority of Ilunga's game has been outstanding, and now davenport wasnt playing today is he going to still stick by his statistics?
LOL Still misusing that womb! Which goal did Ilunga get in the way of exactly? You mean the second, the one that bounced off of Green's middrift? Yes, Ilunga was a little slow to react but he was expecting Green to hold on to a shot into his tummy. As for my stats, yes of course I will stick with them. Want to know how many goals and points / Cup exits Rob Green's errors have cost us since last November? I can share it with you if you like.
no the point is you don't know any facts fanno, you just think you do, for example, you look at your stats about davenport, now how many other team players were in all those games, come to think of it davenport was injured for quite some time so probably half the games you blame him for he wasnt even playing in lol, seriously though, take those games and see how many other players were in those games, now cos your checking for davenport, it probably looks all davenport when in actual fact it's not, I don't here you mention, his attempts on goal, his assists or his two goals he has scored for this club which to some might seem possitives, and I always hear you glory up anton, but he cost us a few games last season by giving away silly free kicks outside the box, yes he is a great defender, but made some stupid errors, but I don't hear you dis him, probably because instead of watching those games you were compiling your stats to slag some other player off, your stats don't make you look smart fanno, they make you look like you watch every game through a key hole, and personally, I can judge who is having a good game and who is not by watching the match, don't need a stat sheet for that, seems the only purpose you have for a stat sheet is to slag someone off even if it is not correct, true you can blame a player for letting in a goal or even costing us the game by a red card, but football is a team effort game so in your stats you better hold every other player accountable and they will tell you that too, you can't blame one player for a season and maybe just maybe, if you started to cheer on your team or player or players when they do have a howler they might, they might just play with a little bit more confidense knowing that we as supporters are behind them, sadly I don't think you grasp that, so you continue to bad mouth any of our players as soon as they make a mistake, if you remember rightly, I was the one who said on here ages ago that Green isnt England quality because he brings on alot of pressure from his clearances and i said I feel that is the reason he wasnt getting picked, everyone knows he is a great stopper and has saved this team time and time again and we are grateful for that, he has a bad game at the weekend, and wheres your gratitude, did I or anyone else slag the man off??? erm no, fanno give it up, no one cares about your stats or your slander
You see, it's like taking sweets from a baby arguing with some of you guys. Davenport, for your information, has only scored one goal for West Ham, not the two you erroneously claim. As soon as you make errors like that, you lose all credibility. As for the other players, West Ham average 1.45 goals conceeded in the Prem when Davenport isn't in the team (that's 11 players) and 2.2 goals per game when he is (that's Davenport and ten others!). It don't take a genius to work out Davenport's contribution! Ah, but he's scored one goal to compensate! Wake up. Your English aint great and your grasp of Maths is at infant school level!
Really? I seem to recall you leading the Green for England lobby and the Fanno to be banned lobby for disagreeing. Now either you are a Croat or you really thought Green was good enough to play for England. My argument was always that he wasn't good enough. So, it seems from what you have written that I can only see the blindingly obvious which means, following your line of reasoning, that you can't! Since you've admitted it yourself, I'm inclined to agree!!!!!! As for your Davenport comment, I would only have bashed him if he was at fault, which, of course, he usually is! Ipso Facto, yes i don't think Davenport should be picked. I actually thought Neill played well today and have said so. Call it as I see it and I CAN see the blindingly obvious, usually some time before you and a few others on here!!!!!!!
A blind man could see that Rob Green can be suspect on crosses and has a lot to learn about commanding his area; he is in fact a brilliant shot stopper he has keep us in untold games, won us untold points and pulled many an iron from the fire for us. As a West Ham SUPPORTER I like to over look his indiscretions when debating with someone who only knows how to criticise until under duress, concedes to make a few positive comments about HIS OWN SIDE, even if most are tongue in cheek. When a spud fan comes on here to gloat I don’t see any of us agreeing with him even if he does state the fvcking obvious, my natural instinct is to DEFEND MY TEAM, even if I know he is right. It might not be so bad if it wasn’t so continual and incessant, it just beggars belief and I fail to understand why you keep doing it, especially when it is so obvious to all and sundry but like the hypothetical spud they just can’t bring themselves to agree with you and your Wet Spamming, it is certainly true of me anyhow
Shall I pull up some of your posts where you INSIST that Green should be first pick for England? Why advocate his selection? I always maintained it would be bad for England and bad for West Ham if Green was picked and cocked up. I have also always insisted, and been howled at because of it, that though a great shot stopper, he aint an International keeper. I stand by that. He is in the latest squad and I hope to God he isn't needed. A Green howler is the last thing both club and country need.
Yeah pull it up and re hash it. Now that Curbs is gone and Davenport aint getting a game we need a focal point of abuse, yeah why not
Silly response again. I had Luckless Neill to abuse if all I do is pick on hate figures but strangely I said he had a good game on Sunday, because he did. He may yet prove me wrong and develop into a top centre back, or may return to right back refreshed and more aware of his defensive responsibilities; if that happens I will give him credit, just as my opinion on Carlton Cole has shifted and just as I shifted on The Beatle. I will say it as I see it, not as The Klan want me to say it. I will also engage you in debate on points rather that make childish jibes, if you can escape your infant school mentality.
Baffled by the CBK as opposed to the KKK? Strange. Your mate MLK knew only too well about the KKK. That's why he had a D.R.E.A.M.!
England are sh1t anyhow so it would make little difference as to who was in goal really. COYROBGREENENGLAND'SNO1I
Croatia 2 England 0. Hence we missed out on Euro 08. England 4 Netherlands 1. 1996. However the crap inbetween made for painful viewing! Missed the Chelscum game. Went to bed with my tail between my legs after the Bolton game...
You should have watched. Lampard, Barry, Gerrard, Rooney, Cole, Walcott, Ferdinand, Terry, Heskey, Cole - there's the making of a team there! Add in Young, Ivebonkedawhore and Richards and it starts to look genuinely exciting. Oh for Shilton, Seaman or Banks now!!!!!
Well Terry is just prejudice. There are a couple of pretty good Chelsea managers who have / do regard him as the dog's bollocks. Chelsea don't look so clever when he isn't playing do they? As for Heskey, he is Cole with knobs on. Great ability to bring others into play, brave, rugged, determined - ask Owen or Rooney who they prefer playing with and I bet both say Heskey. it aint coincidence that he played in the 3-0 win over Russia, the 4-1 win over Croatia and the 5-1 win over Germany. Who else featured in all three from kick off?
I have no prejudice against Terry at all! I happen to feel that he's sh1t, is not as good as other CB's available. I'd rather Woodgate to Terry any day of the week, how's that for prejudice!? He can head a ball, yell at a ref, kick someone up in the air, err, err that's it. Great captain material!!! His passes are all square to the full backs or other CB and I think playing in such a strong Chelsea team aided him/covered his inadequecies. I doubt in a weakened team he'd be as 'effective' Look at all England's losses!!!! I'm no fan of Heskey at all. I'm of the belief forwards score goals. Cole doesn't do that but at the mo we've got nothing else so I won't slag him off. (He scored at the w/e btw, did Heskey?)
You should know better! Wicket keepers are supposed to be great behind the stumps but Gilchrist was picked because of his runs, not his glove work. Sometimes it can be another facet that a player brings to a team that earns him selection. Heskey enables others to score and we score more goals when he plays than when he doesn't. He deserves to be in the team therefore. As for Terry, if he wasn't up to it, Jose would have replaced him.
You're so bleeding transparent- For God's sake mate WE KNOW YOUR OPINIONS ABOUT ROB GREEN AND CROSSES- YOU ARE NOT A MASTER YOU SUFFER FROM A SURPLUS OF VERBAL DIAHORHEA AND MOST DECENT FANS ON THIS SITE ARE DISAPPOINTED BY THE DEFEAT TOday (sorry I left my caps lock on too long).COYBeautifulIrons!!
So am I disappointed, so am I. Doesn't mean I can't reflect despite my transparency. So Green aint good enough for England then? And somebody needs to sort out his decision making and handling on crosses? Just to establish that we ALL NOW AGREE ON THAT! (Sorry, capital locks slipped on for those last few words!)
Lets get one thing straight- I've never EVER mentioned Green being good enough for England but the bloke won us a hell of a lot of points last year, give him a break (you're the statistics man Fanny tell me something different). Maybe with Mr Zola being an Italian (and a much respected one at that), we could sell Robert Green and get in 'Luigi Buffon in the transfer window instead eh?
Agree that green needs to sort out decision making and handling on crosses before being considered an england place.
Yes you are a Twat, why is it every time we lose you can't wait to come on here and rub our noses in it.
Maybe because I'm always right. So sorry to rub your nose in it! Green was brilliant! He is England's number 1 after all! Why is it I get abuse for saying it when we are winning, then abuse for pointing out I was right when we lose? All I can say is, "Thank God Capello knows more about football than some on here!"
You asked the question about you being a Twat Fanno and I answered it. Unfortunately you often do make good points and make good observations and suggestions. What gets me is that as a fellow West Ham supporter you seem to take great delight in telling us what a crap club we support.
