We look to be pushing to conclude this one as our offer has increased for personal terms. On what I have seen on video footage of his past he looks like the sort of player that will entertain and get goals. His record is fantastic at virtually a goal every other game at every club he has played for, and that is better than anyone else we have signed for years me thinks? I really feel this one will be the real deal and our board seem to be doing everything to make this happen.

I really think this guy will deliver and if he clicks running off the ball with Payet then we could be up there this season. Maybe so but will Bacca still be up to it during our 4 Winter Months ? .. Only it is amazing at times the effect they have on some Foreign Players that come to the UK to play ? .. Personally I will still stick with Benteke or Bony especially as mentioned on AGE and asking Prices .. At the end of the day I don't mind keeping Sakho !

I think the owners aren't
I think the owners aren't looking that far ahead to be honest Malta. I think they want players who will score goals now and next year so age is irrelevant. The Vardy nearly signing and Payet's arrival prove that. It's a gamble but if you can buy the right 28-32 year olds who will hit the ground running, we can then bring through these younger players more easily

From the outset I thought Bacca was too old for that sort of transfer fee and top wages required too. Yes it would be great to have a prolific goal scorer but for right now I think a spread of risk is better and getting three strikers that are as good and a little better than Sakho but with the right temperament we'll be better than last season.

Not dusted yet, but if we sign both of these (and JC gets work permit), then we've done some excellent business. As always there is some chance they won't adapt to the EPL, but you have to go with the odds. Still think we need a couple of strikers in reserve in addition to them, but maybe that is Fletcher and Samuelsen???

That he is going on tour with Milan to the US then he can take a run and jump! Sakho for Berhanio is an obviously good bit of business but it doesn't even get a mention?
Too much speculation
I am just about fed up with speculation re this guy. Is he playing us for a fool? I am a bit concerned with our defence as we haven't won a game on tour yet and the last game we shipped 3 goals without reply regardless of whom we had playing. Yes it takes time to gel and fitness is an issue but I would like to see some solidity at the back.
