Europa cup discipline for qualifying rounds counts towards our fair play points for next season? Just asking..........WTF? Professionals can't handle amateurs???

Not sure at all BUT WHAT I AM SURE ABOUT is that 3 sendings off in The Europa League IS AN ABSOLUTE DISCRACE!!!

I think that with the sending off and the end result we can now say ta ta to any continuation in the Comp!!!

Dont think its any coincidence " THAT OUR 3 LUMBERERS" Noble,O Brien and Collins get booked and sent off!!!

Football is about speed of though....and foot.

These 3 posses not one iota of it between them sadly!!!!

If Bilic cant see that by now then thats a real worry!!!!!!

becuase west ham players always make it difficult for themselves and can always turn a strong winning position into a desperate fight for survival. Its in our history and the sooner we make a fresh start at the olympic stadium the better.

I've been a West Ham supporter for the last 42 years and I don't intend changing now. But down through the years I've sat down watched and listened to Hammers matches on TV and Radio and seen them go maybe 2-0 up in a match and I would say that eight times out of ten there was always the fear in ones mind that the other team would come back to draw or win. There is times I think we're experts at it. Will it ever change, I don't know. As for last night qualifying for Europa was a bonus, play each game as it comes and try and get to the group stages. We have a new Manager who is finding his feet, has bought a few good players and he probably knows he has to spend a few more bob before the window shuts. PREMIERSHIP is priority, what we get from Europe is a bonus. Don't think we were ever going to beat Arsenal so put out a strong team next week and have a go....... we might surprise ourselves.

Agree - ive supported them for 51 years and of course there is no other team to support. I like Billic ,at least he has passion and goes out to win. I still think we can win the second leg and progress in this competition. COYI...

Agree with you both: time to drop all the negative philosophy of the Allardyce years, lets go to Romania and go all out for the win, and worry about the Arse game after...

Do Soton have carthorses like the aforementioned?

Or absolute no hopers like Maiga and Jarvis?!

Or players like Zarate who can only seem to play for an hour maximum?!

No didnt think so!!!!!!!

about Maiga and Jarvis, they were bad buys and the club has to accept they take a loss and get rid! Zarate never had a record at PL level and doesn't play for the team so why did we buy him? QPR didn't even bother with him when they realised it so why do we bother? We need strength in depth and although we have made some good signings we have dead-wood that needs to go, meaning Nolan, Zarate, Maiga, O'Brien and Jarvis. We need a quick winger, full back cover for Jenkinson and a forward. As for the reserve keeper? My word his positional play in the games he played was appalling! He is woeful!!!

I don't know, but it's highly unlikely that the same countries, let alone the same clubs, will get through via the fair play qualification anyway 2 years following.

Agree with all the rest, but would say that Zarate has linked up very well with Payet (in the games I have seen). And apparently scored a very good goal last night.
