England Womans team

I`m absolutely gutted for the whole team to go out of the world cup in such a cruel, cruel way.
They have played with heart and passion that would put a lot of our mens national team to shame. I cannot begin to imagine how poor Bassett felt when her attempted clearance went in off the underside of the bar.
The whole team have earned my respect and gone through the roof in my estimation for their determination and never say die attitude.
I raise my hat to them all.

Such a poor way to lose , they can hold there heads high . I just hope the men were watching they might have learnt something. Well done girls.

Gutted for our girls!Cruel way to go out,but they have put womens football truly on the map.Like you say fellas the mens team could learn a thing or two after watching this tournament.Well Done the England ladies football team.

Well done ladies, next time! I was surprised by the WWC how many goals were converted from penalties - anyone else notice that?
