Don't know about the rest of you all but I'm finding it very hard to generate an interest in the Euros. I should be happy cos I'll be shouting for the boys in green and we will have NIR, Wales and England to look forward to. Ourselves, Northern Ireland and Wales will probably struggle some bit but IF England put it together they could go a long way. Even though Roy doesn't come across as a very NOBLE person he probably will get the luck. My prediction is Belgium to raise the trophy. Role on next Friday and maybe the whole thing will have stepped up a gear.
One thing for sure
Is the irish & welsh (albeit underdogs) will have camaraderie in their teams & give it their all!As an englishman im not over confident on englands chances,you would think with vardy & kane in the squad,that there would be plenty of goals in the side,but by the looks of it roy hasnt a clue how to accomodate the pairing...imo drinkwater should have gone for his link up play with vardy,as for not taking our man mark noble well what can you say!!imo england will be lucky to get past the welsh & go through the group..

I love my country and the football team will give Roy and the team all my support, being a supporter is all about opinions,being a manager is about making decisions, for me we are just not good enough at the back,top goalkeeper but not much else in the defence,when we come against the best im afraid we will not be good enough,midfield is ok and the forwards are our best bet so give it a go England!

I'll probably get slated for this but I really don't give a toss about the England football team. If I wanted to watch Spurs play I'd get a season ticket at Shite Hart Lane. And as for Roy Hodgson? Jesus, what a complete twat to have picking a National squad and making decisions. Why the hell is the awful Jack Wilshire in the squad anyway with his handful of Premiership minutes and Danny Drinkwater with his Premiership winners medal over-looked, and Jordan bloody Henderson? it's a joke. What about Antonio, Noble and Cresswell,? Oh I remember now, they don't play for a fashionable club do they. I hope England get stuffed and Hodgson is told to sod off.

Whilst I don't agree on all you say Timmy I do agree with most. Not overly interested in England, constant managers raking over the same tired players and ground that fails every big tournament. Saw a documentary about sir Alf the other day and he said it's not the best players you need it's the players that fit in the most effective way. In short no square pegs in round holes that has been going on for decades, it's a team game! So many of that squad don't deserve to be there it's ridiculous and I quite expect Wales to upset us and stop us getting out of the group stage. We need a manager with balls! Look at that defence possibly the worst in English history! And if rashford can go then why isn't the best and most effective and consistent wideman this season who is English go? Antonio. Is. Yes our strikers are our strength defence is our weakness we probably can have a decent balanced midfield but can't see Roy picking the right players to do the job. Our defence alone will prevent us winning the tournament, and have serious doubts we will get out of our group. I can easily see Wales getting something from that game.

Yep France for me too. I wouldn't pick any of those defenders! And we all know terry would still be picked if he hadn't retired. Says it all really. I expect people like Milner, Henderson and Rooney to all get heavily used and that's not the way forward as like you say Harry failed before. Sterling to get a look despite a poor season, and vardy either benched or played out of position.

Normal service has resumed. Despite little pressure from Russia when they did attack the final third defence were all at sea and always looked capable of letting goals in. Pundits over rating our performance and how did Kane stay on? After an hour he looked uninterested, made no runs, had no pace and put their defence under no pressure all things that vardy thrives on and would probably prevent Russia from committing players forward. Oh and just to prove nothing changes Milner gets yet another cap! Move along nothing to see here.

Kane can't even take a good corner or free kick consistently! He was pretty much no threat at all! Roy hodgson (rolls eyes) he's like that senile old uncle you just tolerate because you can't get through to him as his mind defies logic. Ok we could have won but I didn't feel we were gona score from anything other than a set piece. We didn't play as well as media implied we did and the goal was no where near as good as they made out! Just a straight blast from the edge of the area, no curl, swerve pricise placement nothing. I'd fancy my chances to get that one.
