Hodgson hates West Ham

Its official - with the announcement of the latest provisional England squad set to go to the Euro's, it may come as absolutely no surprise whatsoever to see that not a single West Ham player features in the squad. The selection process has become such a joke, it bears more semblance to the Eurovision song contest than the European Cup - only with West Ham exiled to the 'nil pois' territory that England normally face amongst the slew of pithy Eastern-bloc pop muzak that takes the spoils. The whole appearance of Hodgson at our final game at the Boleyn gave me a faint glimmer of hope he was there to scrutinize the likes of Cresswell, Noble or even big Andy Carroll - but now its clear the real reason he was there was to see Rashford. Yes, Rashford a one season wonder who to be fair, possesses a lot of talent and could well prove to be a good future player for England, but is a massive gamble. Not one to shake things up too much though, expect to see Roy's favourite Tiny Tim Wilshere make the bench - where he has been prolific this season, still nursing an injury that he probably wont have recovered from by the time of the tournament, along with the usual 'boring' James Milner et all. We fans have all been harping on for long enough about the overlooking of our players for national selection - but you only have to go on the BBC website where the squad list has been announced to see the many comments from other supporters who are as incredulous as we are to see the omission of our standout players to know what the claret and blue specs might be slightly tinted but they still give 20-20 vision. The most criminally overlooked player for me though is Antonio. How can you take a chance with Rashford amd not do the same with Antonio? He has been the best English winger in the country this season. I will be watching the Euros of course and supporting England but I hope this is Roy's last competition.

So Woy has chosen 5 Spuds but no Hammer! At the moment I have no enthusiasm at all for watching Euro2016. If we can sign a prolific goal scorer in this window we can mount a real challenge for the Premier League next year and our players cannot all be overlooked for another season. After all, following an early exit from Euro2016 England will have a new manager....

I couldn't give a toss anymore. England are crap Woy is the FA's man. I for one am glad, at least our players will be relatively injury free come the start of pre season. I used to be a huge England fan but I'm afraid listening to Woys dribble naffs me off. He sounds like an old man talking to himself on a park bench watching the ducks. Pathetic....

I think mate this is the perennial problem with England. You forgot to mention Fabian Delph. Did he play this year? Rahim Sterling?? Yeah he's had a great season Roy. Unless you play for a top four side you won't get a look-in. I actually think that as good as Noble is for West Ham, I don't see him as International class. I know blasphemy. However is he worse than Drinkwater, Milner, Henderson, Carrick and Delph? He marked Rooney out of the game last week, and Rooney is our talisman captain. Unfortunately this is probably the worse squad I can remember going to a major Champs, and the poorest out of touch coach leading them. I hope they don't make it through the group stages, as that' the only way a change will be forced. We need a young manger and coach with new ideas, that rips up the mantra of big club players and starts with u25s of the next qualifiers. that's the only way we'll improve.

I think Hate is maybe the wrong word but maybe rate is more appropriate. We knew we wouldn't get any players in the squad. Safety first is Roy's philosophy and he certainly doesn't pick many players on form looking at whom he has picked. Rashford won't get much of a look in. It could be England will come unstuck. At least our players will have a rest. How bad Carroll's injury is I don't know but he has not been that great last few games after his purple patch a while ago but as a sub would have offered something England don't currently have.

There are 2 people in this world that I think have to have tests on their sanity as I true,y believe they have lost the plot, both are liars and both are hypocrites. Those men are Roy hodgson and David Cameron. The shi1t that's comes out of theses 2, it's really not worth listening to anymore both are desperate desperate men to be acknowledged.

that stated we were the only team in the top 14 of the premier league without any current England players. Might be worth doing again. What upsets me is that if (let's say) Cresswell joined Man City he would be picked immediately. Remember Lampard, Cole & Johnson when they went to Chelsea, Carrick & Parker to Spurs? Picked immediately. Lingard plays 2 games for Man Utd and gets an England cap!! So wrong. Andy Carroll gets picked when playing for Liverpool, but not when playing for us!
Don't mind so much that no WH in the final Euro squad because they have a good squad, but why don't they ever try any Hammer in the friendlies at least. The only time we had a good number of England players was when Ron Greenwood was England manager and probably showed some bias to us!

Luvvly jubbly!!! Roy you are a mug, you've always been a mug and you'll always be a mug! Cancelling my sports subscription today as Foxtel lost the EPL rights and I won't have to endure the drivel that this England team slop out. Would have forced myself to watch it had there been a Hammer or two but I'm done with England. it's been a long time coming, but when the FA hire a total, clueless idiot like this, that selects a squad that puts in one of the worst WC showings ever, and still keep him, you have got to wonder what the feck is going on.
This squad has the same smatterings of last hoorahs as his WC squad. Players selected just so they can have one last chance to show that they are real failures and not just one offs, players selected that have barely featured at all in a season so they're top of their games right Roy? The ones that really get me though are Delph, Cahill, Lallana, Milner and Townsend.
At least our boys will be fresh next season and won't be associated with yet another International failure.

What to watch Spanish, Italian or German leagues or the cherry on the top, MUTV, ChelseaTV, LiverpoolTV, TottenhamTV, ArsenalTV and delayed games at that??
Nah, wasn't tempted in the slightest. The guy on the blower did say they were still in negotiations with Optus, and he'd give me sports free for a month if I signed up to the Movie package!! Wasn't tempted by that either.
