Last week against palace I thought Zaza played very well without reward as for yesterday I have not seen the match and cannot comment on his performance but I know that he has not scored and that is why we have him but playing upfront on your own what do you expect....I was happy to see Slav change formation but still to have just one man upfront on his own really means we will struggle to score more than one in a match...I would rather start with two strikers get into a nice winning position then haul one off and bolster the mid/def....until then I think this season is going to get harder and harder for us goal wise.

26 mill ?they must have money to burn ,he hasn't got what it takes ,you could feel the crowd yesterday rooting for him every time he touched the ball ,i agree with dicksy sometimes the old fashioned. C F 's job is to lay off ,you get the feeling Lanzini & Payet would work wonders in that formation (one up front )but Im afraid Zaza leaves a lot to be desired .
Just as a foot note the early ko today was a cracker, i was really impressed with Southhamton ,they never give up their great passers of the ball and great on the counter even when they started to flag with 15 mins to go ,i think they ll be the suprise team this year

As much as he's irritated me to the core, the lone striker role is more suited to Sakho. Honestly I'd be happy to the needy little, injury prone dirtbag but who can play that lone striker role that can stay fit? I see us linked to icardi today. Can he do it? Maybe Ayew can do it but his most common position is on the wing....
