Well it's no secret we are after 2 strikers this season. We have lost emenike, sakho and Valencia both want to leave and Carroll is injured a lot with neither fletcher or the kids up to it yet. I'm not trying to dig the owners out but I can't help thinking their first striker in shouldn't be the real big one! If we get someone about the same standard as Carroll and sakho with a good injury record we won't need to panic. Then we can have a much more likely chance of picking up the big signing in the last 2 weeks of the window. When the dust settles and the big boys take their pick players are much less likely to waste our time or drag things out. Fact remains the quality players don't see us as viable yet. 2 weeks before the window shuts top quality players become available and then we should snap them up ruthlessly.

Seems like he would prefer West Ham over Man United. He wants to be on the starting lineup, something that a player like Gareth Bale prevented him from doing so. If that is true along with the predicted signing of Jonathan Callieri the Argentinian, this will be a huge improvement of the squad. Please let Sakho go as he is now refusing to travel to Austria with the Hammers squad. Barely two weeks to go before the Europa game and we need to have a more organised squad then that at the beginning of the previous season.

Rodriguez is injury prone so we don't need another on our books. Callieri looks promising and depending what he costs, Bacca aint gonna come. We are not attracting many maybe because we are not in the Champions league. I am sorry about Sakho but time to let him go as he is disruptive.

Surely no one believes Rodriguez is really a target for us! Also heard Argentina have been withdrawn from the Olympics as a football team due to non registration! If true we have Lanzini back and the calleri deal might go thro very soon fingers crossed.

and much as I wish for their sake that Argentina were in the Olympics, to have both of them with us at the start of the season would be a huge plus. Chelsea are going to be tough, but at least we have them before they have settled. It could be anyone's game.

i am not worried
about a marquee signing as much as the board seem obsessed about getting one in....I would settle for a player who does not cost the earth but puts his heart and soul into playing for the club...as lanzini/payet/Antonio/cresswell/ogbonna have proved you do not need to pay silly money to get a decent player....I like the look of this ben yedder and at £10million I think a better option than bacca....and as for calleri like Lanzini last season he is a complete unknown but you just never no he could be another hit and again not on silly wages.
