The thing is: Manure fans, and Bindipper fans... Arse fans, and the johnny come lately glory hunting fans at Man City and at Chelski... they can't possibly know how we feel right now. They haven't felt the real lows, and so they can't truly understand the high we feel today... kinda makes me feel sorry for them...NOT!!!!!

First game and today without Jenkinson and last two weeks he had complete shockers, not all his fault that we lost, so will he keep him on the bench if we play okay?

Of course we should.

Never thought he was all that last season ( he was semi decent in a pretty poor team tbh).

He now seems to have arrived back with some Johnny big boots attitude down to his 5 year deal at Arse.

Totally baffled why they gave him that.

He will not kick a ball in their first team!!!

Would give him back tomorrow and persist with Tomkin's and take Hutton in as back up.

Should have signed him for £3.5m instead and absolute joke that our management didn't see that last season as he was Burnley's best player, if you know what to look for in a player

I can't comment on Trippier as don't know enough about him ( but will bow to your judgement).

Would send Jenkinson back tomorrow.

My personal choice would be to get Hutton in as back up and competition for Tomkin's (_with JOB as extra back up).

So Lanzini came in for Nolan and scored and did the leg work for Nobles goal, whereas Nolan wouldn't have contributed as his legs and confidence appear to be gone in my opinion. Then its interesting to see that Jenkinson didn't play in our 2 wins against top sides and he had shockers in the two games that we lost, the results not entirely his fault of course. So it will be interesting to see what Bilic does when Jenkinson is available again?

I said on a different post that the difference to our defensive display at home was dropping tomkins for jenkinson. Thats 2 clean sheets now and 2 wins

Its interesting though. A few seasons ago playing Tomkins at right back was just something that got exploited by other teams constantly. Whole hes had his critics imo tomkins has matured a lot and is now our best defender.

100 percent agree with you fred. Tomkins was class when first came on the scene and now time has progressed and to add playing with Collins instead of upson he has got better.

What was the outcome on MOTD? When I saw the result after my weekend away, first thought other than WTF, we won at Anfield!!, was what those sour twats on MOTD would say.

Lineker did say that we played well and the others agreed but they were more intent on taking the piss out of Bilic's comment that they parked the bus but didn't put the handbrake on, Gullit was one of the pundits, great player but did naff all as a manager, it does make me wonder when MOTD get these so called experts on to pass comment, if they were that good they'd be employed in the game
