Sakho or song?

Submitted by Red Neck Iron on Sun, 01/05/2016 - 14:08

It was well suggested that sakho had spat his dummy out and been rested as a result of his actions. Since then he has comeback and is also playing, on the other hand song has disappeared from sight even on the bench, despite our squad being fully fit according to reports. So my question is was this a conflict between sakho and song, that bilic has deemed that song has been responsible for? And as a result he has taken appropriate action against him?

We can only speculate, one things for sure though - soon as the season ends its good bye Alex Song and thanks for the memories

It's a shame because I rate these two players highly.I would love to see these two players stay at Westham, but Bilic is the boss and he wants to run a steady ship, none of us know the full story. The only way of softening the blow of losing players of this calibre is by bringing in even better players to replace them

I think sakho isnt half as effective as he was ,Carroll has made that sot his own since comming back and a much better work rate ,Song ?i remember the euphoria last year when we were begging the Spanish to make it perminant ,i'd i kee him

that song was not being played because if he reached a certain amount of games it triggered a transfer deal put into the loan agreement and I think with the wages he gets the club can get better for less money and a younger player as well hence the deal for the guy from Germany whose name eludes me right now...as for sakho he needs to get his bum into gear and stop spitting the dummy

Ah maybe that's why song hasn't featured it would be logical captain. Having said that wasn't there a rumour about song doing something before sakho reacted? If so my point is maybe song has become a bad influence due to his lack of games this season?

Sakho was made to apologise to the entire first team squad for having his strop, Alex Song has been banished from even training by Slaven Billic because Song went to particularly great lengths to torment Sakho about his wife and family leaving him, culminating in an almighty bust up on the friday before the match.

Nev this seems to add up for me and explains it all based on what has happened, but doesn't seem to be common knowledge on the net

Wow I didn't realise the extent of what song was doing. Great management by Bilic IMO, Sakho rightfully gets a 2nd chance and song gone. Don't need any disruptions in our squad from players with poor attitudes like song.

Has been a more honest professional than Song at West Ham for me. Song earns £140k per week and was part of a class Barca squad, so why couldn't he sustain his early performances and show his class? Sakho is a PL player and works hard, a steal at £5m and £30k per week in my opinion.

Agreed. Couldn't help myself to a little argument on twitter yesterday about Sakho. Some people being a bit over critical and harsh about his performances. All the bloke could do was argue about him only having 4 goals this season and it was getting right on my nerves. Sakho is a player who eptimises part of the west ham way imo. Not the greatest player and not the most skillfull. but is a grafter and always gives 100% percent and I hope we keep hold of him.

Just winds me up abit red neck, having our best season for years and people have still managed to complain about things that arent there to complain about.

Perhaps doing well doesn't sit easily for them Fred.? Either that or everything has to be analysed under a microscope as it's the way nowadays, some perspective seems to be less evident.
