Whether your a Sam man or not I think he'd be a success, you know the style, you know what you'd be getting and I'd bet it will lead to success (that is 1/4 or semi's). Just look at the terrible but effective football played by Portugal. Sam is most definately the man for England...him or Redknapp, another "you know what your getting" guy but will ultimately lead to positive results.
Sam has delivered on his remit at every level (promotion, stabilisation, maintaining prem. status and saviour of relegation).

Do we know what we're getting from Redknapp though? There's a myth around him that he's some sort of tactical genius, I don't know his best formation or style of play. I said after Woy failed at the World Cup that Allardyce was the man for the job. Yes I wanted him out of West Ham but he's the only English manager I know that fits the age profile for the FA, that also has a way of playing. The history books will show that Greece and Portugal won the Euros, with two of the weakest leagues in Europe, who cares how they played? Play to,our strengths, knock it long and often and give their defence something to think about.

I think what he needs England is a kind of "sergeant." One that makes them learn to spit blood for the shirt and the National. In the last two competitions we did two figures of shit

Say what you like about him love or hate what he did 4 our club. He knows football one of the most experienced managers in the leauge. Knows a time waster knows a prima dona and his no noncence approach will get the respect of the talented players he picks, and they will have respect for him, something other England managers dont seem to have had.He is pretty tactical minded he will get the most out of his players and will put up with no old crap. An Absolute No brainer Allerdyce for England
