With the red top Mirrors report on the Sakho/Berahino swap deal, what's everyone opinion of this possible scenario. Forget the Sakho / Berahino swap deal, why not offer Valencia and £3-5 million as well for Berahino. We get a decent, young English forward that can play and score goals and given the right guidance by Slav would blossom. Also what about this for Lacazette. Offer them Sakho, who obviously wants out and £25-£28 million. That way we get the player Slav wants, Lyon get a good striker in return, so they haven't got to shop around for one and so everyone is happy.

Just read that Carlton Cole may be returning to West Ham after having been released by Celtic! (readwestham.com) Surely this is a wind-up?

Yes ashes, apparently bilic has always rated Carlton. He thinks he originally struggled due to our lack of creative spark when Nolan was playing behind. He will be our back up striker as bilic believes he can bring others into the game hold the ball up and should get a better goal rate with Payet supplying the amo. He also managers to be fit for more games than Carroll, sakho and Valencia. Also heard exwesthamemployee says we have bid 37 mill for lacazette but it has clauses in the deal. Maybe that's why we might get Carlton as our number two striker?

Did I make it too obvious Fred? As for ashes, don't even bother reading what that website says, it's so bad I no longer even click on it mate!

in my Hammers Hall of Fame, for his performance in the Championship playoff; Just like Zamora whose goal got us back up the time before. Newcastle are about to find out just how hard it is to return at the first time of asking. Also: Cole was an absolutely faithful hammer. Just can't get that one game against Tottenham out of my head, where he scored a blinder and then a couple of minutes later passed straight to Defoe to give Spurs a goal.
