Your Hammer of the Year so far?

Submitted by Gerus on Mon, 30/03/2015 - 18:57

We are getting closer to the end of the season. Still 8 games to go but most of you should already have chap lined up to be their HOTY. So who is it and why?

Captain Noble whom I hope stays a Hammer for ever and a day. Passionate, committed and someone who really does give a shit about our club. Rare and absolutely bloody priceless.

Tops my list-12 goals so far & could have had so much more with better service...

If early season form had continued , Song would have won the HOTY easily, but he has gone off the boil along with team performances in general. So there are now a number of candidates who have come into consideration, but my vote goes to Kouyate.I can remember in pre-season his performances standing out,and I was thinking to myself this guy provides great drive and energy in midfield that the team desperately needs,a great example for the rest of the team.I still look upon him as that kind of player ,gives 100%, great engine and consistent performances.

Cresswell for consistent quality, Sakho for pure excitement

No matter what abuse he takes, still manages to put in the same level of performance.....crap!

If I'm honest though, I'd give it to Cresswell just ahead of Kouyate. Both been incredibly consistent but Cresswell has made the step up from Championship to Prem league without missing a beat.

Didn't sod off to the Africa Nations Tournament, chose to stay and give 100% so I raise my glass to that guy!

Kouyate has been outstanding. When called upon to shore up our defence there is a hole in our midfield and he is more than a handful when he gets in the oppositions box, if only we could clone him!
