Irons To Get Czech Book Out Again

Having built up a very good relationship with Slavia Prague, West Ham United are now actively engaged in bringing Prague’s striker Abdallah Sima, to The London Stadium. The negotiations have accelerated due to 'sudden' interest in the young striker by fellow Barclays Premier League teams Manchester United and Arsenal.

Normally this would mean that 19 year old Sima would have his head turned by the offers on the table from the 'big clubs', and would choose them as opposed to their 'poorer' East End rivals, however in this instance the Irons for once hold most of the aces in that Sima is far more likely to choose West Ham over his other suitors because his former colleagues, Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal, are already in situ and would be a very welcoming presence for what after all is a very young and probably very impressionable player.

The acquisition of Sima probably represents the last real opportunity for West Ham to get their 'Czeck' book out before the 'vultures' swoop, because you can bet your house on the fact that Man U and Le'Arse, along with a host of other 'elite' clubs, will be looking to the Czech league for bargains, with the inevitable consequence of pushing prices through the roof.

At least in this instance Hammers were way ahead of the pack, but unfortunately this seem of gold is about to run out as the other 'prospectors' lump on the bandwagon. David Moyes is probably annoyed that the opposition will now attempt to usurp the Irons as the main outlet for Slavia and the other teams in their league, but he can console himself with the fact that he has managed to get the cream of the crop ahead of the rest. - Ed

PS: As if to add substance to the inflationary aspect of other team's involvement, apparently Slavia Prague Club President Jaroslav Tvrdik recently responded to the Arsenal rumours by stating: “It takes £50 million to let him go in January.” Although his comment was believed to be a bit tongue in cheek, we have learned that any deal for Sima would involve a very substantial sell on fee.

I have no idea about this player and his ability but at just 19 years of age the pressure he will be under to perform immediately could crush him.....and to put that weight on a young man shoulders is taking a huge risk IMO...i would rather scout people closer to home but we all no he will be cheap compared to others but scoring in the Czech league i suspect is a darn sight easier than scoring in the Prem...if we buy him he will have my support and hopefully will be a goal scoring wonder kid.

Er why are people questioning whether sima at 19 and sou and cou were slotting in right away from a supposedly Czech league that's way below the premier league? Is going to be a gamble ? Watching players come from German league which is way overrated other than two teams as haller and Chelsea are also proving doesn't get mentioned ! Get him in and Slavs keeper too before the rest of the premier like stated clock on . At last were doing things first for a change and it's paying dividends . COYI

There sould not be another transfer of foreign players without an in depth search as to his background ,all aspects ,not only the player but the club hes currently with and all other clubs ,if any he was involved with ,i am of the opinion that we were fiddled on the Haller deal , coundnt find contact details of the board or the manager so i wrote to the supporters club chairman and recieved an amail back saying they would try their best to get my enquiry to the right sources.

It's one of those isn't it? He could be the new McAvennie in other words when we signed Mac, people went who? St Mirren, not even Rangers or Celtic, cue the raised eyebrows. BBC FF even did a feature on him, who is this goal machine? Or it could be another Le Merde scenario. I'm guessing with Coufal and Soucek, it would make for a safety net familiarity wise. But 19 is a very young age, lets see what happens!

Oi big boy, what's your name?

I think this is the point Boogers. It’s all a lottery. Sanchez at Arsenal incredible, goes to Man U, rubbish. Torres at Liverpool world class, goes to Chelsea third rate. There is no magic formula. You have to fancy the player do a bit of youtubing and make a decision. If it works you’re golden, if it doesn’t you’re being accused of dodgy dealing. When we bought Soucek, I thought who? Bowen the same, both have worked out so far well. So why not this kid too? There’s a lot of players out there that are good on paper but s**t on grass, Haller being the perfect example. TBH I’d take anyone over ho, right now
