That was smart play ... he was reading the game, timed his run on the blind side .. reminiscent of Martin Peters ... bit of a deflection from Everton player but Soucek knew what was coming and was getting in position two seconds before anyone else even thought what might happen... that’s why he is so good ... smart and reads the play ...

Even Phil Neville and the rest of the panel stated that Haller is a problem for West Ham as the team has no confidence in his ability. Once Antonio came on it was a more positive West Ham.

to replace Haller, should have scored of Rices cross but like Neville said he didn’t read the play and give himself a chance. Feel for Fornals as he gets into position but has no final product, works his arse off but needs to get goals. Oggy is a machine and probably our most consistent player, big game player and Dawson has grabbed his chance. Great win.

Dawson is getting better with each game hope we buy him at the end of his loan spell if only we could have tried out our striker before splashing out 45ml

In the past we would of lost a game like that but we deserved that win Everton were surprisingly off the pace no urgency and lacked any ideas and without a crowd to gee them up they were flat throughout and you would not of noticed that we have played 3 times in a week compared to Everton.....Ogbonna was a giant out there and yes when Antonio came on you could feel the belief in the team that we could win it now with him on....as for Soucek what can you say he has been immense since he arrived

What a superb result! I am so pleased because I thought we were unlucky to lose to them in the cup even with our B team!

Good performances all round but I think Ogi was brilliant in defense. If he were to improve his distribution he would be world class!!!!

Great result and a great team performance. Dawson and Ogbonna were outstanding.Only one save for Randolph in the whole game. Coufal excellent and Cresswell back to his best.We dont win at Goodison very often so enjoy every minute.
