Brother Enfield all is not lost !,We shall overcome ,West Ham will be free !First off !,I hope everyone is well .It is great being able to share my thoughts on this great site. Well ten years ago ,I did warn everybody what to expect from the self styled 'Messiahs' .I think it would be kind in saying that the Cons ,need a truth detector test , rather than a lie detector test they lie so much !Nobody believes them when they say hello anymore !They are ABSOLUTE MASTERS at using the media to spin their lies for them. They leak different 'exclusives', to different members of the media .They even have their own Pravada spinning 24/7 on their behalf .They will do anything to protect The Cons .From pleading poverty, to throwing the manager under the bus . Even trying to shift the blame on to Sullivan's original 'girl Friday '. Mrs Brady.

When you see Dave Sullivan JNR occupying TWO pages in the Daily Mail talking about himself and his pad, as well as the other son ,Jack, having a TV program made about him being the youngest Football boss. Then you realise , how great their influence in the media is .It doesn't stop there !They have little attack dogs, using false profiles on twitter and on various fan sites ,desperately trying to shoot down any criticism of the Cons. But even that is not working any more .Even their one time biggest happy clappers, have vehemently turned against them !People are sick of the lies !I feel bitter in the way that they have betrayed people's trust ,people who wanted and believed in the dream .Nothing wrong with that .

As for myself ,Brother Enfield and a few others ,we warned about the 'phantom ' bids .Bids with zero intent .Bidding well below what the selling Club wants ,or offering personal terms that they know perfectly well the player won't accept ,are just a couple of 'party' tricks they use. The end result is always the same .We tried. Their little lackeys will spin it that the player was greedy, the agents were greedy ,the selling Club wanted all the money up front .Lies ,lies ,sweet little lies .Then you would get the leaks to the various media outlets :"West Ham 'closing in' on Messi !West Ham 'closing in' on Ronaldo "Add any fantasy land signing you want !West Ham would of been 'closing in' on them at one time or another. In the beginning the fans would be giddy with excitement, Not now. And Fareham ?At times I would pour a double JD ,laugh and say BOLLOCKS !!

The reality has always been the same with The Cons, in their 27 years at Birmingham City and West Ham United. Freebies, cheapies and loan after loan is what they deliver .Although I must admit I enjoyed the phantom' bid 'leaked at Birmingham City the best .They leaked it that they were 'closing in ' on Diego Maradonna .Alas when Maradonna signed for Sevilla ,and was asked about the Birmingham City 'bid'. Surprise !Surprise ! He said he'd never heard of them .Anything to shift the season tickets ! Not for nothing are they the 'FOUR ' time relegation 'kings'. They love relegation !Its like winning an Oscar to them !They would rather see their side relegated than spend money.

The 'Messiahs' will do anything for money. That's why they bought West Ham United. For money. I 'm no financial wizard. But something stinks they the way they sold our ground cheaply, and it got flipped so cheaply afterwards. Make no error about it ,they have been deep involved in the Upton Gardens property development. No doubt that is where they've made their money. Next level ,champions league blah blah. One flew over the Cuckoo'S Nest stuff !This season we have had the usual suspects, rolling out the tearjerkers on behalf of the Cons. With Financial Fair Play so yesterday ,the theme has been all football Clubs facing a 'financial Armageddon due to Cov-19'.The market would be flat we were told. Of course every other Club bar West Ham United ,have been throwing money around in a frenzy. Like someone about to go bankrupt and having a last spree on the credit cards before handing them over to the receiver.

There mantra is divide and rule. They don't even pretend to go through the fascade , of going after this star or that star anymore .What for ?They know no one believes them anymore. Some make the mistake of thinking that Sullivan is prime evil and Gold is just the "Uncle Albert "type. Don't be fooled they are in it together. They are like two bank robbers working in tandem !Gold holds the bag open while Sullivan packs the loot in. So where does it leave us ?Most of the fanbase hate the Cons and I'm sure they are not overly keen on us. However we are far from an impossible position, even with the 'Messiahs' at the helm .Lets leave the theatrics aside away for a moment. As much as I would like to ,I cannot blame all the evils at the Club on the 'Messiahs'. Lets face facts here .When the arrived at Birmingham City ,they were in the third tier of English football, mired in debt ,St Andrews was falling apart .When they left ,St Andrews was rebuilt ,Birmingham City were in the Premier League and were in the black .So it is a fact and NOT opinion. They left Birmingham City in a far better state than when they found it.

It is the same thing at West Ham. You cannot blame them for everything that has gone wrong. When they appointed Manuel Pellegrini ,they did give him a big budget and kept well away. The signing of Jack Wilshere costing over 15 million over three years was a disaster beyond their control .Sullivan, must of gone mental when he was offered that deal !Neither can you blame him for the signings of Sanchez and Roberto. Those three were The Director of football, Mario Hussilos, signings .In fact Sullivan did not want Husillos at the Club, as he had doubts about him. But he backed the manager . Malaga fans blamed, Hussilos , for their relegation bemoaning his dud signings, however hindsight is always a wonderful thing. Yes ,Pellegrini was a washed up manager on his last payday .Yes he was a naïve appointment, but most fans were giddy when he walked through the door. People now say he was not backed in the second season, which is true. But we will take a closer look at things One of the big problems we face in the transfer window is we have no transfer war chest .We have paid the price for years of cheapies, freebies and loan after loan.

Lets get this out in the open regards this cry baby mentality about "always being a selling Club ".ALL Football Clubs are selling Clubs ! Lets take a look at Liverpool for example .They paid £22 million for Suarez and sold him for eighty million, Countinho was bought for £11.7 million and sold for £105million and Torres was bought for £18.7 m and sold for £50 m .A profit of 182m .Some gets used to service the Clubs debt .The other is left in a transfer war chest .So when Jurgen Klopp needs to spend big .The dough is there .Or do you think the hierarchy of Liverpool Football Club, come rushing into Jurgen Klopp's office and say :"Jurgen !Old boy !How much dough can we give you to spend this summer window ??100m ?200m? .Of course not !It is the same at all Football Clubs !The key is buying and selling well .Even little Brentford are showing the way !

We have an unbalanced squad ,lacking in depth but have some very talented individuals .We badly need a period of stability and a steady growth .I'm not a huge fan of David Moyes, many must feel the same about him as I do .It is a like the young lad who goes to a Club .He eyes three beautiful girls ,but one by one they go home with somebody else. Towards the end of the night he sees this other girl and thinks; "She is better than nothing ".They end up going home, and surprise !surprise !They have a hell of a time ! David Moyes has proved post lock down, that he is hugely liked by the players and respected. We played some good stuff and stayed up .People say he will never get another job if he leaves us .Rubbish .He has somewhat restored his reputation when he kept us up for the second time. I have just got the feeling ,we will be getting 'the Everton Moyes'. He is hell bent on revamping the Club, from top to bottom .If you are good enough you are old enough was Moyes, philosophy at Goodison Park. We badly need to get one or two Academy graduates into the first team squad . Moyes has a very good and experienced Coaching staff ,that will help settle promising youngsters into the first team squad. We have no choice, BUT to back our manager and as always the team. We are going to need a strong man to stand up to the 'Messiahs'. I just have a gut feeling that David Michael Moyes will do just that .

As for the 'Messiahs' ,as always 1!2!3!4! time to shove G&S the FOUR time relegation 'kings' out the door. But realistically speaking, there are very few People lining up to buy Football Clubs .I think the Cons will hold out till they've bought the ground .That way they will make real dough if they sell up .If we have a horrific start to the season, they are going to think Burnley was a school picnic. Things will get very ugly indeed ,sadly it will boil over onto the pitch .Something has to give and they know it .I can see them waving goodbye to Brady and appoint a new CEO. After that who knows ?But them kill my love for West Ham ??NEVER !Christ on a bike our love for West Ham is far deeper than that. As we showed post lockdown we have enough talent in the squad to beat anyone .Lets hope Moyes can bully ,force ,persuade the 'Messiahs' to open their fat wallets, so that he can bring a bit more quality in !As ALWAYS looking forward to the new season .We are more than a football Club, we're a way of life !COYI !!!

All

You are right about bad selection and tactics. But no decent manager will come near The Club with the Cons in charge .Nothing wrong with Noble's tweet. But playing wise it is laughable that he gets picked.Nothing but a sentimental choice that will se us relegated .Everybody talks about needing reinforcements in defence and attack .God help us if Souceck or Rice gets injured. We are paying for years of cheapies, freebies and loan after loan.

So I now would actually give DiCanio a go. At least it would be one helluva ride. I really, really can't understand this obsession with Eddie Howe.

I would give neither the job.The key thing is getting a top director of football in.Someone who can spot top talent early.Buy well and sell is the key.If Brentford can do it so can we !

Although Howe and a good director of football may well be a good option. At the moment we are signing a lot of youngsters who don't make the grade at top Clubs.Sadly they don't make it at ours either.. Sadly because they are not good enough.

I agree with pretty much all of that. I just staggered that they haven't seen the benefits of improving the academy and training ground facilities. If we had anything approaching Premier standards training facilities, I've no doubt our production line would have produced better quality, attracted youngsters giddy with what we had to offer, then sell them for huge profits. That's what I thought they'd do. I vastly underestimated their poor business acumen.

Thanks Darren !If they improved the training ground facilities, we wouldn't have that many injuries for starters !As you say if a youngster is shown around our training ground ,they would say thanks but no thanks .Little Brentford are run better than us !
