End of Noble?

Nothing do with last nights brilliant result but playing a chelski side that put citeh to the sword few days previous i was worried because no matter how much we love him everyone knows his time is surely now coming to an end.Injury may well have forced Moyes's hand but hopefully it shows we can win big matches without "Mr West Ham".If we do stay up then sadly his days as a starter have to be over and no i do not see wheelchair as his replacement or Lanzini either so big decisions need to be made

No matter how hard he tries, his legs don't have it in them anymore. Sadly now he is always one tackle away from conceding a free kick or getting booked because he just doesn't have the pace. Great servant, but he by his own admissiion cannot perform to the level he was once capable of.

He should, if he's not already be doing his badges for coaching. He'd be an ideal right hand man to a decent Manager here at the club. Only he knows when it's time to call it a day. I for one will never call it for him....

What Mark Noble does have is a quick brain. He was never quick for pace but dont write him off yet. He still sees an opening for a pass and can calm things down when necessary. A squad player next season possibly and used as a sub more often than starting. They also want to keep Declan Rice so I will not be surprised to see Declan taking over the captaincy when Mark either hangs his boots up (which is a possibility by end of July if he wants to finish on a high) Or Moyes retains him next season and gives the Captaincy to Declan or someone else (Ogbona?).

again Bondsy I totally agree. Nobs has a very quick brain and for the last 3 seasons was probably the only midfielder that could deliver the killer pass. The problem is that in the Prem you need more than that, you need the engine to match. If we go down he can still do a job.

I'm not sure that just giving Dec the armband is enough. It didn't work for Joe Cole, he went off to play for his childhood favourites... remind you of anyone?

I could never understand the stick the likes of lampard etc got when joe Cole received none! He jumped ship soon as he knew we were relegated to his childhood team & used to celebrate scoring against us like he scored the winner in a world cup final!

Fair enough he wanted to win trophies!but made a real meal of a celebration when he scored against us,just dont understand how he got away with getting stick

Soucek and Rice sounds good enough to eat. That's our foundation now. Make Rice captain permanently. Maybe he will stay.

I cannot see him going to another club, he must do his badges and become a part of the managerial staff, and who knows, possibly a manager in the same dynamic as kenny dalglish or graham souness, despite them both being scousers!

But he would be good to have as a coach and i would be surprised if he has not started taking his badges yet...a one club man a rare breed in this world of modern football and he deserves the respect we all should give him.

But he has done his time as a first team player, still think he can be an important sub or replacement though, but if West ham are to move forward we need a faster more industrious midfielder.

I'm good thanks, I have had so much headache trying to get in to the bloomin site so I gave up, tried it again and I'm in. I thought I'd come in and have a look around it looks a lot lighter than before everyone seems to have gone.

He looked so serious before kick off yesterday, perhaps he had seen some of the negative comments on our fans sites, his performance was brilliant 89% passing accuracy leading to three goals including an assist. Tired, yes! when he came off after 70 + minutes but a great contribution to the team playing in a more advanced role this time.

agree 65 and I would keep him, next season as a player in the Chumps or backroom support for the Prem. Mr West Ham deserves total respect and one day Manager!

He knows himself he cant do it every game maybe how he's been used lately is now better for him so he’s fresh when he plays.
