So £105million for Rice looks like thats going to be done PSG in for Pacman so another £90million that should be enough for Moyes to get the dream midfield of McTominay Henderson Fred a new contract for Soucek and Downes as back up who needs flair and invention eh!!

Moyes is to defensive minded and playing on the front foot is something he will never do hence the departures of Irvine Pearce now Warburton all of whom i have know doubt wanted to play a bit more open and attacking brand of football but Moyes does not do that and until he is gone i am afraid we will see another season like the one just gone where Moyes got very very lucky keeping us up.

Building a team around Pacman is as plain as the nose on your face but Moyes would build it with defensive midfielders/fullbacks/centrebacks so expect drab football in the genre of BFS and Avram:-(

In the last seven relegation battle games is hardly a "keeping us up stat". And a quick reflection on the teams we played in Europe is hardly winning a European Cup, nice though the final was. That final has blinded certain people to the last dire 18 months.
