I have never been more annoyed or harrassed at a football match than at todays match.My friend was not well so i went to the match on my own i was getting a drink when a group of lads(chelski fans)thought it would be fun to surround me make disgusting comments and think it was fun to try and take my drink from me "for a bit of fun"and the stewards just turned there back and ignored the situation that pissed me off big time Goodness knows what else may have happened if a man and i mean a man must of been in his 60's did not step in and made it clear to this group exactly what would happen if they did not move on and although there were 5 of these scummy lads it was clear that my knight in shining armour was not mincing his words and meant every thing he said they backed off then the stewards came over but they got short shrift from my new friend he walked me round to my seat and said after the game he will wait and see that i get my transport home with no trouble he was true to his word and a couple of his friends with him as well proper men polite funny but you had the sense any trouble they could deal with it.Thankfully i am home safe and i have to thank Charles and his friends for making this girl feel safe and they kindly offered to be my escort if i have to come to the match on my own again proper men proper gentlemen.Now i do not condone or like violence but seeing that chelski fan get knocked spark out on twitter just now made me wish it was one of those who harrassed me but sadly it was not.I will be writing to the club about the stewarding but i think it will fall on deaf ears.

Hello HG, I am deeply concerned as to what happened to you. I only just made it to the game having flown in from the Canaries, so arrived late enough to witness the confusion caused by security telling people to take off their bottle tops!
I still have some connections at the club including David Gold's grand daughter Scarlett, she will be aghast at what happened to you.
Please tell me where and approximately when the situation occured and I will get a CCTV review done, nothing is guaranteed to happen but at least the stewards can be brought to book and the CCTV imagery passed on to Chelsea.

Cowards they were for sure but Charles was as you say old school for sure he was having none of there nonsense as for me a glass or two of Prosecco has helped me forget about those horrible chavvy boys

Luckily it's a rare occurrence,but you can always rely on Westham fans to look after their own! Just feel for you having to put up with these idiots,I've always said the stewards at Stratford are non entity's! At Upton Park the stewards would have probably gave those chavs a bloody good hiding cos they were from the Manor!!anyway I hope it doesn't put you off going anymore & enjoy your prosecco!!
