Whisper it very quietly, or loudly if you wish, but David Moyes' managerial redemption has gathered enormous pace just as some of his contemporaries are on the receiving end of the tin tack. In a week that saw THREE Premier League managers, Farke, Smith and Santos get their marching orders, David Moyes oversaw his 1000 game during the week, followed by possibly one of the stand out games of his career in management, the 3-2 defeat on Sunday of Jurgen Klopp's all conquering Liverpool side.

The grit and determination shown by Moyes' team was the embodiment of players working together with a common cause, immaculately implementing the instructions given to them by Moyes and his superb coaching staff. This is NOT the West Ham way, winning ugly and messing with the heads of the so called top teams is not something normally associated with West Ham who, over the years, have always been capable of causing an upset against top teams, the problem was it was an all too infrequent event that was sandwiched between sobering defeats.

Here at the Org we normally place the odd bet at the beginning of the season, West Ham to qualify for the Champions League and to end up in the top four of the Barclays Premier League. It's only the waste of a few quid, however this season is a very different story. Because of the club's added fixtures due to qualifying for the Europa League, many predicted the club would struggle, there were even some who suggested relegation might be a real possibility! Well they're not saying that now!

Hammers new found prominence around the globe has been triggered by victories over main replica shirt sellers Man Utd, Man City and Liverpool, no more so than in the USA where West Ham have become something of a cause celebre, a 'cult soccer team', Bookmakers state side don't have the 'stuffiness' of some UK based companies and only use data driven statistics as opposed to the 'elite team' bias' shown in Britain.

NewJerseysafebetting will be keeping an eye on Hammers progress and they may initially price the club to end up in the top four, jump on it now because if the team keeps up it's current level of achievement, it is going to be pretty hard to dismiss it's genuine credentials as a 'top team', how nice does that sound?

Make no mistake, these are very special times to be a West Ham supporter, very very special and long may it continue. The squad David Moyes has put together is as goos as ANY other Hammers squad EVER! There are those who would argue against that claim, but in nearly 60 years of going to watch West Ham, this writer believes that the team are collectively as good as any of the illustrious line ups of the past.

Moyes has not only redeemed his career, he has helped rebuild a football club! Out of his 1001 games, Sunday's victory over Liverpool must have been one of the sweetest ever. - Ed
