Big Player Doubt Ahead of Watford

As ever David Moyes played his cards extremely close to his chest in his pre match presser ahead of the visit of Watford on Tuesday evening, it is often what Moyes doesn't say that is as important as what he does say. So when referencing Michail Antonio's availability, with the player having travelled a truly ludicrous amount of miles and played three ultimately pointless games for Jamaica, the Irons manager merely stated that Mich was fit and available, but with the caveat that the club were unsure as to whether it was wise to play him so soon after his return.

This evening's opponents Watford have no such reservations with their AFCON players only arriving yesterday and THIS MORNING! Newly appointed Hornets boss Roy Hodgson has already stated that his AFCON contingent will play "if they are in the country, no matter what."

It is just as well Antonio wasn't available for the Kiddy game, because you can guarantee that if HE had turned his ankle, it would have leaned toward a lengthy spell on the sidelines. - Ed
