Whether it could have been the running over of a black cat, the Old Gypsy curse or just plain bad luck, but West Ham United seem to be competing with Arsenal to see who can amass the most injuries to key players! It has been officially confirmed that Manuel Lanzini could be ruled out for up to six weeks with a quadriceps injury.
Lanzini underwent a scan on Monday and will now begin a period of rehabilitation which is expected to keep him out of first team action until early February. The Argentine player, who has been in sensational form, joins Dimitri Payet, Diafra Sakho, Victor Moses and Enner Valencia on West Ham United's worryingly lengthening long term injury list. - Ed

Samuelson currently on loan at Peterborough and they love him. Not a seasons loan either. In fact I heard he was refused the opportunity to play in the cup so he isn't cup tied, and then played in our U21s instead. No idea that was even possible

Just think how we would cope if we had qualified for the Euro's..

Getting a bit grim now with all the injuries. Let's hope no more occur against Stoke. Must be difficult for Bilic now as options are not great. A draw against Stoke and a win against Swansea is feasible given their current state and we always do pretty well against them. Hope springs eternal.

We should play Collins up front with Carroll on Saturday - use him as a battering ram to soak up the harsh challenges

Looks like we can add 6-8 week hanstring injury to Reid to the ever growing list now. I fear the wheels are coming off
