I only managed to grab the first half Betty. Despite a great result it was a bloody hard watch that first half. Can't fault the team for carrying out Moyes's instructions. Just wish he could find a more attractive way to win.

Its very ugly but effective.

Areola was probably man of the match, and that says a lot about the game and possession. However, I think Antonio was also outstanding and basically unplayable.

I'm delighted we beat our nemesis and that we are top of the league. the West Ham shirt, as always, being proudly worn on the streets of Australia today.

Just a note of caution.. No every club we play will miss the chances / poor conversion of possession in goals.

A win is a win

And HTF we won that game I'll never know. It's a funny one for me, because obviously delighted with the win but how we played for it was, as others have observed, dire, and it's going to be a long season if that's going to be a regular set up. For me, it was Paqueta as MOTM, he was every where and adapted to defensive duties after the loss of Soucek wonderfully. One thing for sure I noticed. Areola can't catch to save his life.
