'Sakman' Rumours Abound During Slack Time!

West Ham manager Slaven Billic is no mug, he may be quiet voiced but is steely in the extreme when crossed. Billic's dispensing of 'justice' following Alex Song's needless winding up of Diafra Sakho was swift and to the point, as was his early season verdict on Morgan Amalfitano's attitude which saw the player bounced out for being too lippy. Super Slav obviously rates Sakho, his tireless work rate creates space and causes opposition defences huge problems, as is common knowledge 'Daffy' has had a very troubled year personally, but his manager has stood by him and by all accounts will be looking to use him in a strike force that is shorn of at least two strikers, maybe three if a suitable offer arrives for the out of sorts Enner Valencia. Those bastions of truth, Sky Sports, are continuosly banging on about Sakho linking up with Big Sam at perennial strugglers Sunderland, isn't this the same Big Sam who didn't want anything to do with the player who was 'hoisted' on to him by Hammers co-owner David Sullivan? Of course being the lull before the transfer storm journalists will write or speak a load of codswallop, but they should at least try and get some where near the truth!
Now, if they had mentioned that Big Sam was after James Tomkins there might be a bit more meat on the bone, Allardyce always coveted 'Tomka' and a move for his services is most definitely on the cards, at least from a Sunderland perspective, however it is unlikely West Ham would be prepared to part company with their academy graduate unless a really good price is offered, In our recent poll only 10% of voters wanted Tomkins to leave, he is West Ham through and through, and although his appearances were restricted this season there is no reason to assume he won't be part of the squad that moves in to the Olympic Stadium, and with the added demands of European football he will be a vital cog in what will have to be a rotated squad.
Sakho and Tomkins to the Black Cats? Don't hold your breath, and anyway the weather is really grim up there! - Ed

now no you step out of line then you will find out quick smart who the boss is and you need a manager like that..he encourages and praises his players even when everyone knows they may of had a mare and I am sure behind closed doors he sorts it out but go public and you are soon turfed out...got a problem speak to the boss not the taloids or twitter or whatever....as for signings and those who may leave well its easy for us to mention names but we have to trust the people who scout and work up files and stats on the players they no more about it than us and I am sure they will get the right players in...although I wouldn't mind seeing Andros townsend and juan mata moving to us...one obviously for the width and the other to help out lanzini and payet in the creative department.

Well, it wouldn't be like BS to want to muck us around, nor sky sports for that matter( they must be running out of West Ham players to sell for us!).

The problem with Sakho is not the mackems (why any of our players would want to give up all of what we are standing at the edge of moving forward to the most exciting times we have ever seen, is quite frankly beyound me!), it is himself!

Since his longterm injury he hasn't been half the player he was before. And I think it's testament to slav's continuing faith in him that he isn't already on his way.
After All I just can't imagine refusing to play on the eve of our biggest game of the season went down to well or indeed will be forgotten in a hurry.

Therefore I believe he will need to get his head from up his arse pretty quick if he is going to have any future at the club.
At the end of the day however good you think you are, no player is bigger than the club.

I really hate all this phoney war before the real transfer business begins and I hate it even more when I get taken in by it all. (Easier said than done though sometimes!).
But the deal that would really excite me, if it could really happen is Mata! Now that would help things no end!

Phil, mata has been linked today to West Ham in the express. Yes it's easy to fall into believing the bull media say so I don't believe any of this so called problems with sakho until Slav says so. For me he didn't refuse to play and until there is proper confirmation that is it. Good article nev totally agree. How about this as poor journalism west ham midfielder Reece Burke linked to Newcastle! No homework at all on that one so its not worth our time and energy.

are making it a tough time for tabloids to get anything moving on the transfer front...I doubt much real business will start happening until the fields been thinned at euros..i mean my god giroud scored twice yesterday against Scotland lol oh how wenger may be hoping for some daft bid for him....as for the mata link no doubt spuds will be in for him by this time tomorrow lol

Mac, not sure it's the agents holding things up this time. I'd say the euros and the new money has made seller clubs cautious or greedy

apparently we had offered 90grand a week plus 15 grand appearance fee which his advisors accepted then when they went back to do the deal suddenly it went up to 120grand a week as other clubs interested.....this will happen a lot this summer personally I am happy we did not sign him

Can't understand vardy joining arsenal, ( if he does) he is more suited to us than them! If the carry on overplaying the passing game then they will neutralise his strengths! Not worried about not getting him in the end especially if he and his agent does act like that.

RNI me and my mates said exactly what you have written down....wenger will end up doing a woy and sticking him wide and so begins vardys downfall......playing direct is not in the gooners philosophy and I think this signing is to try and appease there fans
