Andy Carroll and Mark Noble both should have come off not Moses and Lanzini imo! I just hope Song is fit soon and Sakho also is fit for the Everton game next week as we did look awful in front of goal with this side today! We could do with Winston Reid coming back as well now that Collins is out. Everton always do well against us so lets hope Bilic plans it better than he did today and drops Carroll at least next week and brings in Reid for Collins.

Seeing as its November already. I think Slav knows the go with AC and will only use him sparingly as Super Sub from now on. I bloody hope so; he wouldn't go down the same road as Hippo Head would he...?

On reflection, I don't think it's a coincidence that our most inept performance of the season so far, involved Carroll in the starting line-up.

We have failed against all the newly promoted teams and Leicester. The main reason is that these teams have more youngsters that can hurt you if you do not match their pace and energy. Whenever West Ham had possession in their half, they were closed down and ended up passing back to Adrian who would boot it up front causing a lot of frustration as it would be a Watford player capitalising on it. When Watford had possession they moved the ball more freely as our players would drop back and allow them to take control of that match. Clearly Andy Carroll is not a man for two halves. When Moses made that piercing run into the box and looked up for support, where was Carroll? In that situation, it would have been a simple tap in were he agile enough to be there. Payet, and Lanzini together have taken teams apart in the previous matches, as they seem to thrive when they combine with deft passes to each other. Payet looked more isolated in the second half. Clearly, Valencia can bring in that pace, and should have been on the score sheet. That's why Noble should have been subbed instead of Lanzini. Collins and Tompkins were both unreliable today. Why was Ogbonna not in the starting lineup? Yes, Jelavic has not impressed in all the matches when he came on as a substitute. Antonio a younger and more skilful player should be given more game time. Everton will not be a pushover as they have players that have pace and skill. Hopefully Bilic will have also done a thorough analysis of what went wrong in this lethargic squad's performance.

would have been a fair result, they had the luck we have had previously, no complaints.
