Good effort from the team, when Payet came off we lost our creativity and Ebner looked to bring a spark into the game to only be injured again by their rugged play. Bad luck. Thought Noble.played very well.in this game

Looks like the referee won Everton a undeserved point. McCarthy should have been sent off, and Valencia might have played till the end. Valencia was causing Everton a few problems, when he came on for Payet. No doubt he has had an unlucky time at West Ham considering the great start last season. I think that we lost our way after he was substituted. But two other incidents infuriated Bilic. First half saw Caroll through at the end of the half. However, the referee ended the half controversially. Same at the end of the game when he ended the game without allowing Noble to take his set piece free kick. Even yellow carding Zarate when the ball looked to have gone out for a throw. This referee was a bit biased. Talking about bias, by the way and off the point, am watching the Stoke / Chelsea match. There was a high boot tackle by Chelsea's Pedro on a Stoke player. It was worse than the tackles that Carlton Cole and Adrian were red carded. Guess what no card here and the referee is Anthony Taylor the West Ham hater. That Stoke player is still bleeding from his nose. Let's hope that Payet and Valencia are not off for too long.

Good test for the team today
Good test for the team today,with Song,Sakho two of Westham's best players missing,thought they handled it well,having to contend with some really bad ref decisions.Lanzini , has really impressed this season,Moses had a good game,along with Noble. Westham lack that extra quality up front,to play the Sakho role,he is a big loss,and I think Bilic knows the type of player he needs to bring in January.Having said that Valencia looked very lively when he came on ,I think he deserves a go up front.As much as I like Carroll the system isn't quite working with him in the side,Bilic needs to find a Plan B to suit his strengths.
Two things strike me
Carroll starts two games....no wins and no goals. Hope we're not going down the same road as Allardyce ??

MOTD highlights were SO inaccurate. The Payet tackle only got mentioned AFTER the game...and you'd have thought that there wasn't a single tackle in the game !!!!!!!
