Greeny - England's No 1

Fair dos to Fabio, somebody at national level has finally recognised Greeny's outstanding contributions this season. Despite the traumas of the 3 successive 4-0 setbacks (none of which the big fella was to blame for)he was outstanding again at Everton yesterday, so it's only just reward that he's been called into the national squad to replace the (permanently) injured Chris Kirkland. OK so he may not play any part against the French on Wednesday but he's taken the first step and underlind to our rising young stars that under this regime they need not necessarily leave the club in order to gain international recognition. Congrats Rob and best wishes on what should be the start of an outstanding international career

fair comment but he's at least moved up the pecking order on the strength of his performances, James is too old, Carson's a clown and Kirkland's always injured so Greeny and young Joe Hart at Man City should be the long term future for England
