Henry on way too West ham?Submitted by clare15 on 8 May, 2008 - 20:37.
On westhamonline.net there is an article saying that we have put a package 2gether for Henry, they say that they want him 2 work with Deano up front, what do u think? and have a look.
( categories: Current Season )
He'd still be a decent
He'd still be a decent player and for those saying hes old - is he not the same age as Benni McCarthy? 30 y/old is not past it if you have looked after yourself and he would be a nice partner for Deano. If it could happen and not at a ridiculous fee I think it would be a good deal.

I agree with E8, Henry is absolute quality! If all our signing were 30 year olds than I'd worry, but if we have a mixture of youthful potential and world class stars, I wouldn't complain. I bet Henry would still be faster than anyone in our dressing room with a ball at his feet.
I agree with you Apache and think Henry still has plenty to offer and would love too see him in the Claret & Blue but doubt it will happen.
Yeah and he is bringing messi with him. Dream on
IF we had Henry even if he is past his best hes still better then most players in teh Prem.. he can carry a team on his back liek he did with arsenal... if he came not only would i liek to hear the songs to the arsenal surporters and when hes 3rd top scorerer in the Prem ahead of Adebayor and hes in a west ham shirt... I dont see how someone can say they dont want him.. he would only be here for 2-3 seasons max so its not liek hes pushing any youngstars out.
Just too add another point, maybe Rjjakard is coming with Henry.I am over doing it now arnt i.CJ
Just 2 add a point,maybe Curbs has vanished 2 Spain 2 sign T Henry,who knows eh.CJ
We already have one Arsenal reject, lets please not try and make it two. He is a player way past his best. Imagine how much money he would cost initially to buy, and imagine his wages. Nah, definatlely not worth buying him. Would much rather buy a young striker with abit of flair. Meh, can't see Curbs buying anyone under the age of 30 myself.
Imagine Turds trying to manage Va Va Voom. "We defend from the front Thierry. The name of the game is pressing opponents. It's not what you do with the ball but what you do without the ball that counts. You have a position, keep to it, don't wander. Tactics? Well Upson lumps it forward and you chase after it. Why the f8ck is he in a huff? Louis, get your boots on, you're back in the team!"
So we pay off Freddy just to employ another oldie, A Golden Oldie, Granted, but another player who is past his best. . . & @ what price??? Nah, never gonna happen, COYI
