Things look very promising... He's already been checking out some of the world's top young talent and making enquiries.. I have a feeling the board are more inclined to go with his suggestions.. Newest one - Stefano Guberti from Ascoli, they have said Nani is interested - if we can get him for what is being reported - £5 mil - i'll be very happy. What does everyone else think about Nani now? Is he going to bring in the right players? Is he going to be what we need? I think yes, especially with a manager like Curbs... I think the mix of English and Continental will create something special for next season.

What makes me laugh is we are linked with some bloke from the Italian 2nd Division for FIVE MILLION and everyone gets excited. If someone said we were gonna buy a geezer called Mike Jones from Barnsley or Wolves for 5mil and we'd all be going mad....but Stefano Gummibeari and we're all getting excited! Wtf?

No one can have an opinion about Nani yet. He starts working for us June 1. One thing is for sure though...he is bringing Italian players to our club, through the rumour mill, that is. I hope he brings in talented young players, preferably English, but most importantly, winners. Deano, please sign an extension, that's all I'm worried about right now. West Ham Till I Die!!!

WHEN we buy somebody it will be easier to start forming an opinion. So far, there's been no end product - like a West Ham front line of Cole and LBM!
