WOULD YOU TAKE 5 LOSSES TO SACK CURBS?Submitted by DUTCHAMMER on 8 August, 2008 - 15:50.
Simple question... Would you be happy to lose the first 5 games of the seaosn if it meant him being sacked and replaced with a more ambitious, passionate and all round better manager?
( categories: Current Season )
OK...Would you take 3 wins
OK...Would you take 3 wins and a couple of draw...We don't agree full stop...i get your point that 'you' don't like Curbs ...i can't agree with some of 'his' choices as manager but - if you are trying to say he 'doesn't care', 'he shows no passion'...i would have to say we don't... agree again...Dutch at the end of the day... we all want WH do well!!! - and losing 5 games doesn't sound like a good start for a new messiah to come in and wave his magic wand and make my beloved WH - a C League team....!...COYI...

Definetely not, Any real fan would wont the team to do well, not the manager.
CMON YOU IRONS!!!
Nope I wouldn't be at all happy if we lost the first 5 games. Even with the meds. Proplem if Curbs goes... Who comes?
Who/where is this phoenix? Talk about make it up as you go along. And what if we get rid of Curbishley and the panacea is not all he’s cracked up to be, what then, as we flirt with the trap door again, someone else n someone else n someone else…..? There can be no earthly reason to want West Ham to lose
You want to stay out the cafe's - no is the answer.
Did anywhere in my post say that I hoped for this to happen? But to be honest if we last 5 games and Curbs was replaced by Bilic i would take this any day of the week. Anyone who says difference obviously doesnt want what is best for the long term future of the club, so could argue they are not true fans.
Not a hope in hell but it won't matter because we are going to be unbeaten this season and win every game and win the league!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not for me, can not wish our club ever to lose. ??????????????? Nope i just cant.
Nah mate, I`d take 5 losses over the course of a season though, then maybe he could Keep his job!!! COYTryingToBePositiveIrons
Phew, I clicked on this link thinking some MIGHT actually say YES!!!! What Kinda supporters are we if we would take 5 losses to get ANYTHING! I would even take ONE like has been said Its up to the board to decide! I play the game to win and HATE losing as a player so hjave NO intention of giving a GAME AWAY!! the mere thought makes me Vomit! Quiet why i support the hammers with that attitude only god knows!
Don`t worry Red, 95% of us on this site wouldn`t sacrifice a single goal, let alone a loss!!! We Are Westham`s Claret & Blue Army!!! COYI
Absolutely not. Remember back two seasons. We approached a season with great optimism, suffered injuries to key players in pre-season games and sacrificed easy points in early games. The result, a relegation struggle which, but for some incredible luck, would have been lost. We cannot afford to lose early games and the Board should not need defeats to make up their minds for them. Either Curbishley is their man or he isn't. If he isn't, sack him irrespective of results.
NO!!!! THAT DEFEATS THE OBJECT REALLY DOESN'T IT?! IF WE WIN THOSE 5 GAMES (HIGHLY UNLIKELY) THEN HE'S DOING SOMETHING RIGHT! IF WE LOSE THOSE GAMES THEN YEAH OFCOURSE, ADDING TO ALL THE REST OF HIS crap crappy klint I'D WOULD WANT HIM OUT! BUT I DONT WANT US TO LOSE THE 5 GAMES FOR HIM TO GO I WOULD NEVER WANT US TO LOSE!! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD LETS SEE HOW THE TEAM GET ON FOR THE FIRST MONTH OR TWO THEN WE CAN MAKE A REAL JUDGEMENT ON HIM!! AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
