With the injuries mounting, it is time for Nani to earn his salary. We desperately need cover at left back and a mobile, goal scoring forward. We could also do with a left footed midfielder. Surely there are some young Italians who would benefit from a season's experience in the Prem? Come on Nani, put down the knitting and show us that you are worth your salary. Bring in three players on loan to plug the gaps!

We have Thatcher on trial(not in court for once) that covers left back. I guess Curbs will ask Nani for a forward with two working legs(does that cover mobile?).

I hope Im wrong but I dont think Nani is the Messiah some think he is. That doesnt mean to say I think he is crap but i would have expected a gem or 2 for the currnet first team by now. Ok he only recently started with us but he already knew the players about the contintent which was the whole point in his arrival. But i agree if nani can pick up an un-noticed gem that will score 10 this season I will be happy
Agreed. He should try getting DiSilverstri from Lazio on loan..There are many young Italian players who would do well at West Ham...Let's hope Nani does us well.
