Moyes the conundrum that the board cannot find an answer to but they will have to come January.
His contracts up in the summer many say it should of been this summer but Sullivan decided as he won the trophy i am not going to pay this man off let him see out his contract then we shall see.
It IMO was the wrong decision as we were on the up and a very appealing project for a progressive manager who could sort out the few problems we had in the squad.
Now forward to next summer i think you will find we will not of won a trophy domestic or European and will not of qualified for Europe the following season.
Nostradamus i am not but with the way Moyes continues to manage the squad and the way he gets us to play i honestly do not see any other future than i have just mentioned.
All that happens who then would be prepared to take us on as a project? we would not look as attractive and the better players will start to push for moves away and back to square one we go.
Does anyone believe the board have a plan? are we looking for Moyes replacement now? i do not think we are and ever will be its the Ant and Grasshopper fable if you ask me.
So who would you like to have as our next manager and who do you really think we will get?

It is hard to be objective when we look at everything thru claret and blue spectacles, but let me try. If I look at the other teams in the Europa I would rank us about 8th. Also another 8 teams will drop down from Champions League so if we make the last eight of this competition I will be satisfied, anything more would be a bonus.
But the league is our bread and butter. Looking at the table I would say that the top four are already installed. Same with the bottom six. That leaves ten teams fighting for the scraps. To finish anywhere between fifth and tenth , to my mind would be job well done.
End of season anything less than tenth is unacceptable and Moyes should go.
I would add a caveat, if we flirt with the bottom six at any stage in the campaign the board should immediately pull the trigger.

what exactly do we expect ? for us to win every game playing dazzling football? Moyes is not perfect, far from it, he has his methods and can we argue they havent been successful? but theres always this the grass is greener thinking anytime we have a bad couple of performances. name me a team outside the money bags 5 squad juggernauts that dont have ups and downs? do we always need to shout manager out after a poor performance?

Look at last season like it or not he got lucky very lucky indeed and £466million spent is more than enough to be better than we are so questioning how we are progressing and team performances is acceptable i believe

Look Var I don't like to sound ageist but this is a younger man's position ,he's playing football from the 70s and 80s for god sake, we have some great players ,1 in particular but he keeps playing for a draw specially when we're a goal or two down .
I hate to say it but I reckon he's started to loose the dressing room .

How old do you think I am? You never met me. Seems to me you don't want to entertain a differing view eventhough it's a balanced one. BTW, it's 'lose'.

Please God, no!
I heard we made moves for Mourinho but he wants to finish his contract this season at Roma but it is possible he could be interested afterwards. Now that would interest me because I've always wanted to see the likes of him or Pep at a club without a bottomless pit of money
